13 Jun 12 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Try to check back often to check if everyone has made their moves so we can pick up the pace of the game a bit. Even if it is a 1 day phase, it is moving quite slow. |
13 Jun 12 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Europe]:i think once school/ finals are over people will be playing more.. or playing less. Depending if they have lives or not |
13 Jun 12 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Good point. |
14 Jun 12 UTC | Autumn, 2000: [Quebec]:Is anyone in this game not a UCSB student / associated with a UCSB student? (If you feel it would jeopardize your position to reveal you're not, you don't have to - but in the interest of full disclosure, it may interest those in this camp to know that the vast majority of people in this game are) |

20 Jun 12 UTC | Spring, 2002: [Brazil]:Direct message from Quebec: "Due to my current living situation I am unable to connect to the internet and thus am unable to continue playing. My apologies for this inconvenience." |
21 Jun 12 UTC | Spring, 2002: [Quebec]:Hello all, my apologies for my absence. Thank you to Brazil for relaying my message - I recently was able to regain internet access. So as not to cause further confusion and hold up the game, and due to the fact that I no longer believe I have the time to commit to this game, I will be leaving. Unfortunately, to my understanding in order to leave a game, I have to fail to submit orders for two rounds without checking on the game, so by checking in to post this message I have inadvertently prolonged the period in which I will delay your game without leaving. Again, my apologies. The best of luck to the rest of you. Signed, Quebec |
27 Jun 12 UTC | Autumn, 2003: [Western-Canada]:This game is so messed up... |
01 Jul 12 UTC | Autumn, 2004: [Pacific-Russia]:**** Stupid thunderstorm. Knocked my power out for two days. My internet is still offline to boot. Screwing me over royally. Sorry guys, but I gotta back out of this. |
01 Jul 12 UTC | Spring, 2005: [Ghana]:not sure why a Pause is being voted for, but I'll back it for now. I do think the game should continue, though. |
06 Jul 12 UTC | Autumn, 2006: [Europe]:So why have people been saving instead of Readying(?) is it on purpose or accident? |

06 Jul 12 UTC | Autumn, 2006: [Ghana]:Could be vacations and limited access around the holiday. It slows a game down without pausing it. Or, as in my case, I am waiting for responses to messages. |
07 Jul 12 UTC | Autumn, 2006: [Western-Canada]:If anyone needs a pause and someone doesn't vote for it, the world ought to turn straight against that person. It would be nice if someone could monitor for people that don't pause in order to benefit their own situation. Maybe there should be an option to report it. Anyway, if you need a pause, say so, and I personally will have quite the problem with anyone that doesn't. |
12 Jul 12 UTC | Autumn, 2007: [Western-Canada]:Speaking of needing a pause, I will need one toward the end of the month for about two weeks. I can get a sitter, but this will be my only active game, so if I don't have to do that, I won't. I can if necessary of course. |
12 Jul 12 UTC | Autumn, 2007: [Ghana]:Sounds fine. |
19 Jul 12 UTC | Autumn, 2009: [India]:Should we vote for a pause until Europe returns? |
