I didn't really see it as a stab on me since I "borrowed" Budapest from you to keep it out of Turkey's hands. Though your bounce of me out of Smyrna was definitely uncalled for!

I hit draw mainly because England appeared to be coming after me, which, after your "stab", made it appear that the entire board was now trying to get me, though I did hope that Germany would be my friend after my removal of Munich, and then when I saw you build fleet Sevastopol I should have thought about pulling the draw off the table. Oh well, fun game. Earning a draw with Italy, Russia or Austria is always a good result (sorry Austria).

Am I the only that feels that France gets beat up on a lot nowadays. </3 I know my playing was piss poor for the most part, but I would have been able to hold back Italy if Germany hadn't chosen the turn right after he offered support to stab. :(

But hey, I typically like France as a country. It's just that when I draw it, I typically get ganged up on. Is it something about my moves that make me an easy target?

Yeah, I'm not quite sure why England and Germany teamed up on you suddenly in Spring 1902, but I can say I am happy they did, as you were apparently heading down my (Italy's) way. Germany did telegraph that he was anti-France with that move to Burgundy in Fall 1901, and then your fleet build in Brest might have ticked off England, which combined with Germany's telegraphed intentions, might have spurred him to launch towards you. My attack on you was because it looked like there was some free stuff in that dogpile and I had a couple of units free!

Rather than looking like an easy target, perhaps you are too threatening? Maybe next time you could try opening with
Bre - Gas
Par - Gas
Mar - Gas

That would put your neighbors at ease, and keep you under the radar.

Ughh, what a slog of a game as Turkey. Almost broke out there, but couldn't fight the combo of Italy and Russia when Russia wasn't getting any pressure from the North and was free to send all his armies my way.
