I just witnessed what looks like a failed 3-1 attack and I don't understand how it failed. Situation:
Turkey attacks Russia with the following:
A Ankara-Sevastopol; F Black Sea C A Ankara-Sevastopol; A Bulgaria S A Ankara-Sevastopol; A Armenia S A Ankara-Sevastopol.
Russia has, unsupported, F Sevastopol. Russia plots F Sevastopol-Bulgaria
The result for Turkey reads:
The army at Ankara move to Sevastopol via convoy. (fail)
The army at Rumania support move to Sevastopol from Ankara.
The army at Armenia support move to Sevastopol from Ankara.
The fleet at Black Sea convoy to Sevastopol from Armenia. (fail)
Perhaps I do not understand plotting. I do not want to make the same mistake as Turkey made, but I do not understand want went wrong. It looks like a 3-1 attack failed and I cannot explain it. Does anyone have an answer?

Also, it isn't actually my fleet, but I do not want to make this mistake, what ever it is.

The Black Sea was convoying Armenia in, not Ankara, as Lando pointed out. The thing to remember to not make this error is to not make a fancy move when a regulation one has the same effect, such as Arm to Sev and Ank to Arm in this case.

I see. So, if Turkey had convoyed Ankara, the attack would have gone through.

Even if the convoy order had been written correctly, this would be a 2-on-1 attack. Bulgaria does not border Sev and thus can't support a unit moving there.

Narcolepsy

Has anyone on WebDip been diagnosed? How are you treating yours? Most importantly, how do you explain it to others so they'll take it as seriously as it should be? I dunno why I've never asked this before, but I just realised I've never met anyone else with Narcolepsy and am suddenly curious.
