when i died, yes, but earlier 4 voted draw, 1 was down, the other was me (i voted too of course) and Russia didn´t vote...

You really got screwed quickly in the beginning.
If I had attacked Italy earlier instead of letting them get so strong you would probably have survived longer.

I think you did well tactically steephie. You had it from all sides, and hard, the whole game.

I find it hard to believe though that there was never a chance for you to convince anybody to stop trying to kill you. You absolutely needed to convince Italy or Turkey that they'd be better off helping you than smashing you.

Then Italy's punk ass CD'd when the going got tough, and double screwed you. The two of you together may have secured a place in the draw - not likely but possible.

If Italy had moved west instead of east it could have turned out very differently.

that's a hell of an "if." Italy almost always goes east in my experience, Austria or Turkey 90% of the time.

I have never actually succeeded going west as Italy. No, it's not taking down France that's the problem. It's Austria stabbing.

Yellowjacket, i don't agree with your 1st message but you can't see the messages of course, Italy said we were destined to fight eachother and i tried to convince him all the time, no way that worked and i tried very much, he didn't even want me as his puppet...
and Turkey told me every single turn in that game and so did Germany, Russia worked with Turkey and everybody thought of a stupid multi and they started at the same time, so that's why i couldn't convince Turkey :)
Italy screwed me, if he didn't i might just have won :)

Also, i've been counting Turkey's stabs and these were around 20 (can't find the message back and i don't think it's that useful to recount...), together with the other stabbers i got stabbed more then Julius Caesar even when i was still alive...
oh, and this was a live game so didn't had much time for the useless diplomacy either...
