I can only start it after the xmas holidays finish though

the game is likely to start after the xmas but probably before New Years... so I'm thinking this coming weekend. however, I think 3 day turns is a bit much, since i've done quite a few of those in the past, and they tend to get really boring and tedious in the later stages of the game.

so most likely i'm thinking 36 hours (1.5 days for those not mathematically inclined) or 48 at most.

as for points, dave, I think we can accommodate you... maybe if we get enough interest, we'll do two games... one at 200pts and one at 300 or something like that.

I need to play 36 to 48 hours. I like the idea of 24 hours but I find I that I often out of sync with the other players due to different timezones (I am in Australia)..

getting good feedback here... i think i'll get the games started on Friday after the holiday dinners etc (or maybe Saturday)... and i'm thinking I'll do one at 36 hrs and one at 24 if there is enough interest for a 24 hr time... though it seems most want 36+ (hellalt - you dont have the points either)

Troo - I think you are right... and though I absolutely LOVE the level of competition and seriousness in both the Masters and the League - the 5point ceiling is kind of annoying I think....

i mean, i dont play for points as much as I do for GR... but at the same time, its nice to have 2000 or 4000 next to your name rather than 700 or 1000...

so I need to do some point hunting.

the thing that sucks, is that I'm actually considering joining a bunch of high-point PPSC games to kick butt and get my points up - its so much easier to build points off PPSC games I think.

I want to play a high point WTA game (not for the points, but for the competition), as three of my games ended and two are paused, but I´ll be on vacation on Jan 15th and don´t know how often I can access the game, so if it´s a 2-day phase I can join, less than this I will have to pass.

And Babak, I agree totally that the 5 ceiling for tourney and league games stinks....

I think my performance in the leagues especially is suffering because of the small pot....not sure though.

maybe we should ask Ghost if he'd consider upping the buy-in to 50 or something... specially for the higher level Leagues... maybe 150 for Primier and A, 100 for B, 50 for C etc

Actually, the Leagues points can be changed by agreement from all players.

You can ask in yours to raise the ante for Game 4.

I really don´t see why points should influence the outcome of the leagues or TMG Masters. These are high level competitions (or should be) and your goal is win that competition. If you want only points play some PPSC with noobs and get it.

I'd be keen for a game. No more than 36hours for me though, I don't play a lot of games and it just takes too long. 24 hours is fine though. I don't care what the point price is.

I think there is enough interest... so I'm going to create them and see who joins...
