Hey, In game #153265(Pax Europa -2) there was a wrong adjudication. Fleet Denmark supported Fleet north sea to Skag, Fleet Skag went to Denmark. BUT a unit can't break a supported move to it's area. Thanks, Sun_Tzu
I'm new to them, and I was jsut wondring if anyone knew the general (or, if you have them, the exact) chances of getting caught and then killed by the MPAA (I'm in the US).
This game just completed - just wanted to thank all other in it for a fun game... Just a pity from my perspective that Germans and Turks didn't turn on the Russian before he got to super powered...

hello, we have a live game that crashed 10 days ago or so. But now many of us can't be online at the same time of the others. it is possible to change the phase lenght from 5 mins to 1 day or so? thanks
Lately when I'm on the home page, I'm getting somebody else's material in the left-hand column. Somebody else's posts are in italics, not mine. And the messages are marked Unread or Recent based on whether somebody else has read them, not me.
I just got a job at CarMax a month ago and came out of training a week ago. In my first week I sold 6 cars, 6 extended warranties, 4 GAP insurance, and 4 accessories. The managers have been going on and on about it and how it is a record and blah blah blah ad nauseum.
To be honest with you I kind of wish they'd stop because it's kind of embarrassing. The thing is that it is super easy and I'm kind of having a hard time understanding why other people are struggling so much.
The more I got to thinking about it the more I figured that it is probably the same set of skills that makes me good at Diplomacy that makes me good at selling cars. In other words: people skills, friendliness (although I will admit I've been rather grumpy in a couple of my games on here as of late...), and persuasion are all big parts of it.
For those of you tempted to make jokes about lying and backstabbing in relation to car sales it's simply not that way at all at CarMax. In fact, the biggest thing that attracted me to the company in the first place was their culture of integrity.
Anyway, I've really enjoyed it so far and thought I'd mention it to you guys. I seriously think that most of you who do well here would do well in that job.
I've actually been having so much fun at my job that I might even call it more fun than Diplomacy! (of course, the money might have something to do with that...)
I have played in a few games with high caliber players and enjoyed it very much MadMarx, Babak, ag7433, flashman, Ivo_ivanov, Perry6006 . I also have enjoyed games with people like Le_Roi, DJEcc24, StevenC,spyman, tilMletokill, akilies, Crazyter, wydend, tailboarder. anyone?
