Someone sacrificed something to the 3-point gods in the first 4 games, but how long can Alston and Lewis and Turkoglu keep hitting 3-pointers at a 70% clip? If they hit them at a more typical 40%, Cavs are AT LEAST up 3-2 and have probably won already. The question is - have the 3-point gods left? Or will it be raining 3s in Orlando?

I'll give you this, though - Dwight Howard is a beast on defense and under the basket. If he ever got a jump shot he'd really be scary :-)

Of course, Mo Williams needs to show up in Orlando. He shoots 30% again, and even LeBron won't be able to pull this one out.

But I say Mo, Boobie, Delonte and Z step up on Saturday, LeBron goes for another triple double, only needs to score 35 points, and Chuck has to hold his nose and come back to Cleveland on Monday!

@iMurk - as much as Billups was upset at the trade, it was the best thing for him - and the worst for Detroit. Welcome to your next few years of mediocrity as you struggle with older players trying to regain what they had. Billups was the class of the Pistons - not that being the class of the Pistons was very hard to do! *GRIN*

@valkyrie - I think the Nuggets will be the team to beat in the West...next year. They're the most talented team, but they're not mentally ready, they should at LEAST be up 3-2, probably have already won the series over the tired and injured Lakers. Mental mistakes are killing them. But the experience of the Lakers is showing, and I think the Lakers will win in 7.

And then ABC is going to get the matchup it wants - Black Mamba v. The King. And a new day will dawn, as Cleveland gets it's first major championship in 45 years!

jbalcorn - Yeah, Dumars messed that up...should have never traded Billups. But other than the Darko draft pick, Dumars has done a helluva job. The Pistons are on a steady decline.

The Red Wings, on the other hand...most successful sports franchise in North America right now. :) 18 straight playoff appearances. Of course, I'm from Detroit...so I would say that.

It is too bad that more people can't appreciate hockey. It's such a good sport.

The Dallas Stars have a good following. If the market warrants it, then team owners can do what they like. There is no reason why Texans should be denied the joy of hockey just because their demographic says they should be busy supporting the Cowboys.
