I wanna see the London Red Coats play the New England Patriots...
...in period uniforms.
Just for the hell of it...let's see how well Tom Brady throws in that kind of getup. ;)
I think a London NFL team would be cool...AND a Toronto team...AND an LA team.
The Jaguars never should've been put into Jacksonville, that state is saturated already with the Gators, Seminoles, Dolphins, and Buccaneers, ALL of which have been way more successful attracting fans and winning games.
Jacksonville's who's played in London the longest...and I think the logistical nightmares could be overcome (we already have guys playing on short rest for Thursday Night Football, and then a day longer rest for Monday Night Football, we could figure this out.)
The easiest fix would be to move the Jaguars to London, and move the Miami Dolphins into the AFC South to fill the void, since London would obviously have to be the East (you're not moving any NFC/AFC North teams, Lions, Packers, Bears, Vikings, Steelers, Bengals, Ravens, or Browns.) Sucks to break up the divisional rivalry between the Jets and Dolphins, but eh, neither have had a HUGE clash...
They're not Bears/Packers or Cowboys/Redskins or anything like that.
The Rams might move back to Los Angeles...the Raiders also might...
Of the two, I'd rather it be the Rams, as they were first and for way longer than the Raiders.
And then, since the NFL always likes to have cities as leverage to force cities to build stadiums...you give up London or LA, but you gain St. Louis and Toronto, two viable targets, and gain the TV markets for Los Angeles AND most of England (not like the London Whatevers will have any on-the-Island competition fighting for TV rights.)
