Do we have a finalized list of players and TAs yet?

I think the last TA list is final and the player list will be finalized no later than Monday this coming week (from what thehamster has said).

Thanks to the extra volunteer TA's. I've got a nice list of backups in case of an emergency. Also, thanks for all the students who had an interest in the game, but who didn't make the cut such as Ogion, vituslex, Chibi-Alex, and Feeniks. I'll keep everyone who didn't get into this game earmarked, and you'll be first in line to join the Spring School of War in April. Until then, play as many games as you can. Experience is the best teacher.

Is there also going to be the side "study group" game that was discussed earlier?

If there are interested players, I am certainly interested in running the "study group" game. To reiterate, that would be a SoW-like game with prof commentary each phase, just no TA's.

The question is "Are there 7 interested players?" Would you be in, Tin? Who else?

The "Study Group" is tempting but I think my pride needs a bit more healing before I play A_Tin_Can again... :D

I guess this means I should get ready to post commentary . . . the professors from the last SoW set a high standard. Also, the last time I posted a commentary, everybody hit draw and ended the game, so hopefully that doesn't happen this year.
A professor game might be interesting too.

I would play Triumvir, if you want the player base to be at a TA level. Might be interesting to have the StudyGroup game be somewhere between SoW and Professor.
