I might be crazy, but I have always thought the Wii was much worse than Playstation and XBox.

Eh it's what we have. I like it but mainly cause I play almost all the games i would on the Xbox or PS3 on my computer instead. I also have a 3DS so that helps the wii cause.

@flc64 That thing the government gives you when you get to much taken ofut of your paycheck in taxes.

Doesn't seem worth the price, IMHO. The biggest thing Nintendo had going for it was the friendly casual gaming environment. That is now ruined because of the cost and complexity of each controller.

YES! Been playing 5 player all afternoon!!!!

We own all of the gaming consoles, but just got this one today. I would not recommend it just to be having it if it weren't a 5 player game. But since we have a family of 5, it's nice to have a game we can all play together instead of having to wait out a turn round-robin.

We played Super Mario Bros. most of the afternoon. One player holds the WiiU unit and builds platforms and things using the hand-held console. The other 4 players are up on the big screen as normal. I did not use the console. I can't imagine building platforms is fun. I prefer the falling and dying. LOL

We also played Sonic All-Stars Racing. In this version you can see the 5th player on the track with you, but of course, not on the big screen. They still use the hand-held screen for racing this time, instead of building platforms.

We also got Skylanders Giants, which we already have with a different gaming console, so I don't know why we got it again, but we did. And we got NintendoLand, both of which we haven't yet played.

So I would say, if you want a 5 player game, go for it; if not and money is tight, I'd not get it just to be getting it. I really prefer the other gaming console controls over the wii remote.

Well we do have friends over semi-often but really I know there are some games that are just going to be awesome on there with the new controllers.
