Unfortunately the busiest time for the site is also the time when I'm asleep, so I can't respond to these things immediately.

At the moment the gamemaster queue doesn't handle voting and live games well, and can't easily retry failed processes, which can cause problems. I'm hoping to make it able to be more resilient soon and these problems should be more manageable, thanks for your patience

Well the solution to the site's problems seems pretty obvious to me Kestas. It's a wonder a master programmer like you hasn't realized it yet.

I am really sorry Kestas - but I just noticed that all the times have been resent to the maximum phase length. That is not an issue for the game I am in with 24 hour phases - but there is a game I have started which had a 10 day sign on period (but 24 hour phases) which has been changed to 24 hours to sign in. Is it possible to have that fixed?

gaahh, I had signed up for 2 live games when the server crashed. now I log in and see i lost both games because all but one player was absent. is it possible to cancel these games?

Yup we can solve all these problems, just give the gameID and whatnot and it'll get sorted out

hey Kestas, have you considered
a) encouraging live game aplyers to go to another (sister) site.
b) if you are trying to reduce server load distributing the process among other sites (while keeping the points and usernames shared?)

this site is free and has only one (programmer to fix up server/code problems, keep it civil huh

this site has more prorammers... well people working on branches, which will be merged when they are stable, tested and appropriate.

For example i'm thinking about working on a few fog_of_war variants, (this site has wisely decided to exclusively support the original game, and only started adding variants - and then limited to gunboat and global press only - to keep what it does clear, simple and obvious. This is a dip site, not a dip variant site... but i'm fairly sure kestas has some support - still it is voluntary, so if you're not happy with hte service, please contribute yourself. )
