That's what Ghost said. So if you got the same country back to back, you shouldn't get it again. Of course, that is dependent upon Kestas getting a tool to Ghost so he can control country placement.

I like Italy and Austria, so of course I don't get to be either twice. Instead I am Russia this round. Still it could be worse: my least favourite country is England.

my least favorite is Turkey. By far. Too boring. And the best one is Russia. Too easy to win :)

If played right, Germany is a decent enough country. You have the A/G, E/G, and F/G alliance possibilities as well as a combination of three or four way alliances with those respective countries. Germany isn't backed into a corner or a side, so it has plenty of potential enemies who may also be potential allies and lots of room to grow. I also like France for it's easy quick growth at the start making it a potential powerhouse to contend with and a great ally to G or E (or both).

Yep, I will play Austria twice. But as long as nobody piles up on me (come on mercy guys) I will be able to prove what a wonderful ally I am to everyone around me.

As for Germany: great country when all players play the game properly. If though you are up against a team (meta-gaming) it is pretty much a dead cert loss because you simply have no front you can count as safe and you are spread too thin. Even nifty diplomacy can only get you a partner who will keep you alive until a better deal comes along. My thoughts and my experience.

Turkey first, Austria second. Looks like I'll get most of the Eastern countries out of the way first.

Ugh Italy twice! Maybe Kestas won't get the tool to Ghost on time and Game 3 will be the double. Once can always hope...

Can't be the thrid as there are already seven people who have played the same on the first and second games.

Yeah well don't rub it in. Anyway I'm surprised to hear you like Germany after the slaughter you went through in our recent game.

One game does not a career make. And you were the one prompted the slaughter with your ill-times stab to "prove [you] could do it." You stabbed and cost me several front line troops which was the beginning of the ned for us both. But it was still a fun game, even if you pissed me off.

Yeah I know. Good luck as G this time and I guess I'll be stabbing you (oops I mean facing you) in an upcoming tourney game.
