yes, you have to be registered there... apparantly, the new map patches are all available now, and soon I'm sure Kestas will upload them here... there are 4 new maps on that site:
Hundred (3 players)
Mediterranean (5 players - set in 1AD with Carthiage, Rome, Greece, Persia, and Egypt)
South America (4 playes - Brazil, Columbia, Chile, Argentina)
South America (5 plyayers - Brazil, Columbia, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela)
and two Standard maps with minor changes:
Fleet Rome (Italy has fleet rome instead of army rome)
Milan (Italy has a new center in Milan with an army between Piedmont and Venice, and Venice is no longer a dot)
the Korean site suffers from lack of communication as a rule, so yes, getting players from here is best as a lot of their local players tend not to talk too much, or maybe CANT talk English.. thats been my experience anyways...
as for Hundred, draws are extremely rare because it has 17 dots, so an 8/8 2-way draw is very unstable and almost impossible to keep, so most often, you'll have a winner. and yes, alliances SHOULD shift almost turn-by-turn, you have to be truly flexible
I really like the Med map... so if there are 4 good players willing to try it, I'd like to create a new Med map as well... who's in?
