Well, Basileus is the Latin translitaeration of what a Greek, and later a 'East Roman' would call themself and be called by thier subjects. It is a term of great respect.

Byzantine on the other hand, was a term coined by Western scholars centuries after the late Roman Empire feel, and was used to describe and denigrate the Empire as not being worthy of the term Roman, and came to imply the supposed deceit and threachery of its people.

Western observers didn't much like that Empire.

In conclusion, I see those two terms as somewhat contradictory when used together.

Ah fair enough, I didn't know the meanings of Basileus, although I did know the general idea.

I must say, after dealing with some Philistines at the negotiating table, it's nice to know that there are some higly educated people on this site.

@figlesquidge: no offense but I for sure gave the right orders but only one of the two units was build. I guess if the type of army and the SC is given before I hit "send" orders should be correctly. Hence I still ask for help with this obvious system error.

BB, is it possible you entered one of the builds, hit update, then entered the other build, but did not then update or finalize? Occasionally people enter their orders and forget to update so they don't get stored in the database so don't happen.

BB: Well, I'd challenge you directly on that.
This code version has been in use for the last year, and has not made this mistake, whereas lots of users have. Moreover, if there was a code problem with the builds it would end up corrupting and you'd find your game would be stuck with a system error rather than just 'loosing' one unit.
Much more likely is that you made a slight mistake yourself, such as not setting your second build correctly, or forgetting to 'update' after writing it, and as such it didn't get processed.

What is the result if BB set both builds to happen in the same SC?

One way of making a mistake, that I have done myself is:

when you click the order and then use the mouse button between the right and left button (the one used to "role" the page down) as you have last clicked in the order it will role the order!
I have done this more than once and when I look my move order is transformed in hold.
This may happen sometimes without one seeing it.

Ok...seems there is no way of correcting this as it is now...then is has to be my fault.
