GL 5-min EOG
I'm just posting my notes beginning in 1903. 4 way draw. We could have eliminated Italy, but we had other obligations that caused us to hit draw

04:46 PM Autumn, 1903: Just starting notes for my EOG here in the Autumn of 1903. The game began with poor play by me. Hoping the German player would appear, I moved to Burgandy rather than Picardy with France which sealed my fate when England moved to the channel and I to the MAO. Italy, using the Austrian CD as cover in his rear has consistently been a thorn in my side, keeping my Spanish and Burgandish armies occupied defending Marseilles. He has hindered both my defense and England and his own growth. He is a child!

With England now in Paris (I tried to avoid his retreat to Paris from Brest, but there was too little time left on the clock), I see a good chance at Brest being taken back. However, I have snuck myself into the Irish Sea. Though I leave Spain and Portugal open, I see no other choice. I will take England down with me by landing in Liverpool.
04:50 PM Autumn, 1903: Winter of 1903:

Italy NMR'd. I woul suggest intentionally, but it allowed me into Marseilles. WIth an occupying army in Paris and my own in Brest, it makes the build I gained this year unusable. This game should have been cancelled as soon as Austria and Germany both failed to move. Instead, I have found an ally in my draw vote in only Germany. Turkey has withdrawn his, seeing the opportunity for a solo. England is now down to just 3 Supply Centers. I am interested to see if he forgoes one of his fleets to continue giving it to me or if he'll actually destroy the army in Paris to move an army back and defend the homeland.
05:02 PM Autumn, 1904: Autumn 1904:

What great fortunes have befallen me! With Turkey on Italy's steps, I took some risks. Rather than defending Marseilles with double the armies, I simply moved Spain, hoping Italy would use his judgement to abandon the hopeless French expedition. To my surprise, he actually did. I moved my armies in a way to take Marsilles back if needed and to take Paris if given the chance. I was willing to trade Brest for this. England took the bait, moving English channel into Brest while I surrounded Paris. Paris is mine at the end of the season. In a great act, England moved her fleet to Edinborough. Liverpool can not be taken back this turn and my fleet is in Wales with no defense for London. Russia has two fleets on Edinborough. If he takes the right course and conquers Edinborough, leaving London to me, England will be down to a single fleet in Brest with a French batallion ready to pounce.
05:14 PM Spring, 1905: Winter 1904:

Fleet built in Marseilles, another fleet ready. Will show support to Germany in hopes that England and Russia will be crushed leaving Germany against Turkey with Italy and myself as bargaining chips.
05:25 PM Spring, 1906: Winter 1905:

Much of what was expected. England took Portugal, making his destruction slightly more of a nightmare than I want with Turkey sitting on 12 SC's. I moved to Marseilles with eyes on Piemont, forgetting that would prevent me from building a fleet this turn, and thus I have proceeded for another turn without my full limit of units. I have a fleet in Western Med that shall be used to defend Tunis for now. while I await the next turn to build a fleet in Paris.

England is at one in Portugal. Russia should be less than the 3 he has, but somehow Germany screwed up taking either Moscow or Warsaw. Italy is at 3, but Western Mediterranean will protect his Tunis unit for the near future. Marseilles will move to Piedmont as a roadblock to further Turkish advancement.
05:37 PM Autumn, 1906: Winter 1906:

The urchins on this game keep crawling all over me. Russia, knowing he'll lose Edinborough soon, decides to move to Clyde to take Liverpool, negating my one extra unit. This forces Western Med to do the job, moving to MAO for the final kill on England. If I could trade London, my remaining English SC for another SC in the south, I would be more than content.
05:41 PM Spring, 1907: Germany has moved into the English channel. There is, of course the chance that he's looking to kill Russia, requiring the destruction of Liverpool, but I have bad memories of fleets in the channel. Turkey is at 13 SC's. Germany is at 11. I have no path to victory, but there is a clear path to a 3-way draw. I'm just not sure who's more dangerous. Turkey is closer to the solo, but doesn't need me for it. Germany needs to eviscerate me for the solo.
05:53 PM Spring, 1908: Winter 1907:

I hate everything. I forgot to stay in Portugal, having destroyed the English unit there, so I have no builds this turn. Germany has moved to the MAO. I don't know what's going on to be honest. Poor move on my part. Still a Russian fleet in Liverpool. Hopefully that unit and Portugal can be taken, eliminating two players this turn.
06:01 PM Autumn of 1908. Portugal is possessed and not being moved. England is dead. French fleet in the Irish Sea will move on Liverpool, hopefully with German help. If successful, Russia is dead. There is a French unit in Venice that moved with German help from Piedmont. It is supporting the Italian unit in Rome. There is a French fleet in north africa that just supported a German fleet into the Western Med and there is a Italian fleet in the Gulf of Lyon. I'm nervous about Marseilles.

Current SC-unit count before the end of the fall
Turkey-13-13
Germany-12-12
France-5-5
Italy-2-2
Russia-1-1
England-1-0
06:04 PM Winter 1908:

Everyone but Germany and I have voted for a draw. England is dead. Russia is dead. My nervousness regarding Marseilles was just. Italy is nothing more than swine that I do not want included in this draw. Regardless, I took 3 SC's, only losing Marseilles, which I shall take back this turn. I shall build a fleet in Brest and an army in Paris.
06:05 PM Updated scores:
Turkey-12-12
Germany-12-12
France-7-7
Italy-3-3

Lol I was so pissed when you moved on Liverpool lmao
Nevertheless, sorry I mounted a genocidal war against you in conjunction with Turkey, but it was there, and I could take the stalemate line at Warsaw and Moscow.

Great example I/T
gameID=173452

I am not just showing this because I won, I am showing this because here we have an example of a I/T agreed upon in 1901 that worked out well for both parties (up until the eventual and nessecary stab and solo)

Please help me set up my first FtF game with friends
Hi mods, I'd like to use the site to play a FtF game with a group of friends. Any advice on how I should proceed? Not getting banned as a multi during/after the game is strongly preferred.
Also, if anyone has any experience playing FtF with all players entering orders on their phones/tablets and/or with players who never played Diplomacy before, please let me know how it went and what I should expect. Thanks!

Civil Disorder - How many un-sumitted orders until Civil Disorder
I'm currently playing a 20-hour/phase game in which I've seen two players not submit orders for over 5 seasons as well as the retreats and disbands. Really slows the game if the player has left the game. When does Civil Disorder take over and moves are made automatically?
