Right now I've written a little java program to test my equations before trying it in php. But at the same time, I could use this program to generate the monthly ghost ratings until such time it is integrated, if ever. The WTA calculation was pretty basic, but the PPSC calculation was a fair bit more complicated.

I hand entered the first month (Aug 2006), all eight games, and got pretty close numbers. Since we're dealing with floating point numbers (doubles) it is probably just that I'm doing my multiplication and division in a different order. The losers seem to be losing a tiny bit less with the winners getting a tiny bit less. For example, I have Hulabeck at 94.283153 instead of 94.28114644.

I've asked Kestas for the data dump that normally goes to Ghost. Once I have that I'll need to work on importing the game data and tweaking it a bit more for things like weighting variants (World, Ancient Med, Gunboat, Public Press). And excluding anyone from the rankings who hasn't finished a game in three months.
