Hanging on by a thread. If we get the GR's updated i may actually be a little higher by now (maybe).

Would you guys mind if I joing only on Sunday (if I am still on the list)? I have a busy Saturday and will only be available Sunday afternoon (Sunday is general election day here too). Don´t want to start late on such a game.

It's looking like I'm going to bow out... I was really excited for the initial game, and even with BESM and bartdogg as alternates, but of the three newcomers, two are in my only current press game, and the third I've played about a dozen times over the years. I've never been shy about stating that I like variety in my opponents, and I was hopeful we'd get a few higher ranked people to sign up, but it appears that some of the interest is lost...

Since two players can't start until Sunday/Monday, maybe zultar can extend the sign up a day or two to find a replacement for me? Sorry all.

So much drama and so little time. :)

I'll happily extend the sign up time to Sunday evening and I will create the game late Sunday evening or early Monday morning with a 72-hour join time so everyone has plenty of time to join.

I guess I am the one that MM played a dozen times as I don´t remember playing with him recently. And I also guess I enjoyed more our games then him :-)

Anyway, if you guys want to find other players I will happily step back as I have already played in the game two.

And i don't personally really care if we go anon or not, but i do suspect a lot of you site veterans have already played each other many many times so i''d have thought the anon setting would have been preferable to minimize familiarity biases creeping in.

... but if we do want to up the stakes, I'd be willing to agree to making it "Solo Only".

At this point, I'm thinking we just scratch the game. I was mainly interested in playing Dejan again (because he's dip-retired) and Rait (whom I've never played), and they're both out now. I'm already in a current game with rdrivera, plus rdrivera and Villageidiot were in my last game. I think after the current game resolves, I'm going to take a little dip break.

I was initially signed up based on a rumor, but it was hard to not want to play Dejan, Rait and Ivo, especially when TheWizard, Eden and THM were also playing... Something told me back then the long delay would result in no game, that sort of thing can be difficult to pull off...

Yeah that's a shame, the few people i'd really want to play i've probably not earned my spot yet enough to actually play against.
