i think we would need a rule for that too. at the moment i think we do have a queue of rules, simply because we can now only talk about one at a time, and we had multiple rules being suggested. after we resolve all those rule proposals though we need to suggest new ones, until we have made a rule allowing queueing of rules

I agree that we would likely need a rule for that. I am curious how we will go forward once the current rule is 'decided' upon. Since we are limited to one proposal with multiple still present, will we go by order in which they entered the queue?

I think there is an incorrect interpretation of rules here. Because if we do need a rule for a queue, then all the 'current queue' is useless and each one of those should be proposed again. If all those proposals stand because they were made before the 'only one vote at a time rule' was put in place because the rule does not affect proposals retroactively, then we should be able to vote right now on those old proposalsm so there would be no need for a queue.

i disagree, the thing is there was no reason to pick the first rule suggested given that multiple rules had already been suggested, and had votes, so invalidating those would be silly.

i don't think we really need a queue for the old ones. in fact, i think we shouldn't, but kasimax thought it should be.

no rules were invalidated by rule 10, they were in a queue, and i don't think we can move on till we've agreed on that.

the fact is the one rule at a time meant that we couldn't have a new proposal until one had been voted on, but we already had multiple votes on each of the other proposals, and it seems sensible that either they should all still be voted on simultaneously, or form a queue, i don't think that we can even have a proposal from ghug right now
