@Krellin OK knowing you wouldn't accept his exact proposal.

There is nothing noble or special about his specific proposal....the *intent* was to debate. I have been, and am, more than willing to debate. So on the face of it, I have not declines his *inteded purpose* at all....unless his purpose was never to debate to begin with.

His caveats and opt-outs are continuous and revealing as to his nature and intent, is it not? He is not willing, and never was looking for, an honest debate. His only purpose was to score points with his little minions...pathetic.

I said something nasty to GF but acknowledged it as unwarranted.

I'm not at all perfect in keeping it civil, CF, but I really do try to have a chat for a chat's sake.

by the way, while you're looking, count the # of times krellin says "hypocrite," or questions the intelligence of whoever he's talking to. It should give you some perspective :P

Outside of within other forum topics there's no way you'll just discuss anything with him correct?

YJ - When I see hypocrisy, I call it out. such as, for example, a person that calls for a debate, and when a counter offer is made to still deabte, but just in a different format, the original requester refuses to debate. I would call this hypocrisy...someone who says one thing, but does another. It actually gives the hypocrite a chance to correct their mistake...it's a kindness , not an insult..

@Timur Don't know bout that. Could make it a lil more civil. Though would be really unfair to Krellin.

@CF - Only in that it matches yours overall. Ground combat in SWTOR is the bomb compared to STO, but STO takes space combat far beyond the arcade on rails action of SWTOR. I have been getting into some of the sotry line stuff with STO lately and it is OK, although the "land on a planet and find an ongoing series of the same items" is a little too much like the "kill X snow bunnies" of WoW: too much a grind.

@DRaug that's exactly how I felt. GW 2 is on sale for 30% off. I am very tempted to buy it. Only holding back since I know I want the new Civ V expansion when it comes out.

One of the now defunct game companies started a Babylon 5 combat sim that was supposed to be real 3 movement much like the show used, but they got bought (I think it was EA in their Sci Fi division) and the project got canned. I wish they had finished that one. The variety of ships from Earth Fleet, Minbari, Centauri, Vorn, and Sahdow? *That* would be truly cool!

Alien Crossfire was a tad disappointing though...

@DRaug I would buy into a decent Babylon 5 game. As long as it had a good plotline and decent graphics. Plotline is way more important to me though.
