Nation Simulator- MkII

It is that time again - to see how the citizens of webDip would run a country. Let's plan on starting after the Mafia game, but we can get our ducks in a row now. We will need a volunteer(s) to help run the show. This could take some amount of knowledge and dedication, as well as an unbiased nature. Hey everyone, it'sa me. Looks like I'm getting to this a bit late already. Civ and basketball took up most of my evening (captain wasn't making it up. You can ask bb and 2WL too). A few things on this page that I want to respond to straight away:

That would be last game, bb. You actually had a wagon of 4 on you very early.

@redeer - You have the vote tracker I made for last game. Votes 2, 3 and 4 on DemonRHK were scum.

I'll point out some ideas I have a little bit later. There's plenty of time left in the phase to start doing some real snooping. I'm just going to spend the rest of the night working on some town tools this game.

@ WardenDresden: It seems odd that you vote for Captainmeme on the basis that he has been a lurker in previous games, despite the fact that he has posted meaningfully in this game, whilst at the time you voted, there were still 7 people who hadn't posted at all.

Well then since you and I appear to be the only players around at this moment, what do you think about Ghug's case on me? What do you think about Brainbomb's case on Ghug? Do you have any other comments about the "joke" wagon on HR started by Brainbomb? What about Warden's decision to focus on Captainmeme?

Is there any possiblity that official votecounts can be done from now on with intentional dashes or spelling mistakes in people their name? This would make using search functions in word documents for people their name to find their posts so much easier.

##CALL GM: How are the players' roles chosen? Do you draw random lots? Do you look at what roles people have had in the past and try to balance this out? Is it just as likely for a player to get Italy five games in a row, as any other power?

Getting italy 5 times in a row is standard F2F practise for me. I allways get italy in live games.

jamiet, if you paste all the forum pages into a word document you can use control F on people their name to find their posts. Unfortunately, usually 70% of the results official votecounts and the occasional person that goes through the trouble of spelling out someone's name in full (more of a problem for people with simpler names).

I understand its monday morning and all, but I really dont think me describing the search function is rocket science.

Step 1: copy paste all mafia posts into word
Step 2: do a search for someone's name to find their posts
Step 3: Be disappointed by all the vote tracker results popping up in the search results since that also has people their names in it.

Now get yourself 16 cups of coffee jamiet, you need em.

Reliability rating?

Can a new account enter a game with min RR set to 50%? What RR does a new account have? I was not able to find the answers in the help/FAQ section.

The experiment got cancelled because internet trolls learned how to teach it to churn out racist and other socially unacceptable text. A/T alliances where Austria does not get boned

Please post examples of success -- I know theoretically it should work, but when I am Austria I always get stabbed, and when I am Turkey I always find the knife irresistible at some point. I want this alliance to succeed, but there always seem to be reasons to end it early.

Site issue: Bad username displaying

Though my username appears correctly in all of my games, at the top of the page it now reads, "Welcome, jmo75917" instead of "Welcome, yoak." I can log in normally with my real username and password. This isn't really causing a problem, but seems that it should be reported.
