BZD - So, only three have joined... How do you plan to fill this game up? Maybe invite the next highest GR rated player every 12 hours? Invite the TWO next highest GR rated player every 12 hours (unless you don't sleep much and want to invite one every 6 hours)?

It'd be nice if people didn't say if they joined or not, then it would be even more difficult for inquiring minds (cough, cough, Crazyter, cough) to figure out who is who...

Yeah that's one reason Draug, and the other is that I was the first female DJ at my college (yeah I know I'm really dating myself now :( ) and my DJ name was CrazyTerri and the guys threw me off the air after I read the news with Jimi Hendrix star Spangled banner in the background.

So far 3 have joined and 2 have been kind enough to get back to me with apologies. Invites for the full 7 places are still out there, so hopefully the game will start soon!

dave, to be clear, my last post was regarding my request that people not say if they've joined (which you quickly ignored), not the stuff about charity.

For the record, Crazyter is chomping at the bit to be included in this game, which I'd tend to reward with an out-of-sequence invite, even if that's hard to believe coming from me and by how much shit I like to throw her way. :-)

I am new to webDiplomacy, but I made to top 150 in two months. I hope that you will allow me into this game.

Common Madmarx, you just don't want to put me in your invitational, so you're throwing me to the wolves instead in the Top 8 game. And btw how many points would I need for that game---I might be priced out of it anyway...

31 for the top 8 game, 143 for my current two invitational games.

How did you come up with those numbers?

I like 143 point buy-ins to get the pot into four digits, 1001 to be exact.

I have no idea how BZD came up with 31 , but I thought it was pretty cool that after I joined his game and started my two 143 point buy-in games I had exactly 24,000 left in my account (even if since I have created a 1,500 point buy-in game and a 25 point buy-in game). Damn, I'm starting FIVE new games, guess it's time to shut down joining any more for at least a few months. :-(

I had 1331 so 31 gave me a nice round number. That is the only reason! I didnt see the need for a huge pot so 31 was it!

Well, 2 players have sent apologies for the game, 4 have joined up and im waiting on 3 to join. Should i get anymore apologies ill continue to work through the GR list and invite. So far its the Top 9 on the site included...if it continues this way it wont be long until i get to 17!!

If the games ticks over the pre game period i will have to ask who will actually want to play a top GR game and then start the game again with those that will actually join. Of course, being an elitist game it will be the highest GR over and above anything else. Of course, if im smashed out of the top 20 this month it wont be up to me anymore!!

slow on the draw here as always and just got to looking at the list ... but was pleased to rise 2146 spots to that devlish ranking of 666!

Nicely done Rancher...a few more games and you will be in the top 100 before you know it.
