And the HB was an absolutely gorgeous hotel with an incredibly huge room ranking in the top 3 of hotel rooms I've stayed in. Equal with the Omni Angles Plaza in LA and the room I had at the French Lick Springs Resort and Casino in Indiana. So I may have been so papmpered that the sudden downgrade was a jolt to the system hotel wise, but the air was so bad my wife was living on her inhaler. It damn near killed her...

I live in Hebron, KY: one of the suburbs of the Cincinnati metropolitan area (or as we fondly call it, the TriState) and home to the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky International Airport. Yet my air is quite breathable, espceially on a cool, crisp, evening in the middle of December (time frame I was in Zurich). Maybe it's the fact we don't have our airport right in the city and the region it is in (Hebron) is very rural with lots of trees and green spaces and lakes and the Ohio River just a mile from my house... But even on the hottest triple digit days (100+ Farenheit) my wife can manage to be outside for half an hour without using her inhaler. It'll be hot, but not smoggy.

The mid-size quartz can be had for around $1200 or the full size automatic movement for $2500 give or take. 300 meters water proof with a helium release valve. It'll go where few people would dare. And if you want a watch that can stand up to the rigors of anything you can throw at it, the Speedmaster is the watch NASA has used for virtually the entire space program. Shock and g-forces be damned.
