I, as a fairly new user who unti about ten minutes ago had no idea of who the Hell Bearnstien was, have afew points to raise, both in defense of superman98 and some that he would be well-served to rebutt in open forum.
As I said earlier, I just now learned of Bearnstien's existence from a forum post down this page aways, so it's not entirely implausible that superman could not have learned the same information. Also, anyone confronted with the knowledge that they could be confused with such an asshole, would naturally take steps to clear their name.
There is also significant evidence to the contrary. Whether or not it proves superman's identity BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT I will leave to others. First, superman made this post in response to the "moderator thing on [his] profile" and in the title message calls figlesquidge (that's gotta be misspelled so I apologize) by the abbreviated name of "figle." While these acts aren't out of the ordinary considered alone, they combine with superman's join date of Jan 14 (five days ago) to make a fairly strong circumstancial case. When I was five days into my membership here, I had yet to visit the forum, let alone know the nickname of a mod. (or even what a mod was) This leads me to believe superman has had previous membership here. If we can take that as given, and we combine it with the fact that figle has further reason to suspect him after only five days, we may have a rat.
On an unrelated note, one of Bearnstien's forum post's very briefly led me to be accused of multi-accounting after he made a shoddy reference to alter egos via a Fight Club reference, so I want him out as well.
