I'm not sure what's going on. You all may remember a thread where Commodore64 said he had a close friend die, and was looking for a replacement to sit his games. This is press from a game I'm in with him, where someone claimed to be taking his position: "My name is TJ Fowler. I don't have an account on here, so I assume I am perfect for this position. Commodore64 is a friend of mine in school."

Well as long as he can't get into my account anymore...

xcurly - for future reference "1234" is NOT a good password, I hacked your account several times too - how do you think you won those 2 games. I had to undo a lot of stupid moves and make good ones for you! ;-)

also - I haven't actually checked, but I hope your new password isn't "abcd" because that's just as bad

Actually DumbassDon-that was my friend....now I am just sick of php due to the grasp it has taken on my life....just ban me goddammit.

Is it a lack of self control or something? If so, don't ever try drugs! You'd be the kind of person who has to turn in their dealer just to stop yourself from using - too many times doing that and someone's gonna kill your ass!

Well, after looking at the logs he almost indisputably runs both accounts...but they only played together in one game, and that game has definitely completed already. This would be a case where the user would drop one account and we all go on our merry way.

I hesitate to actually ban him for two reasons:
1) His name is Commodore64. That's awesome.
2) I see no reason why he cannot simply abandon his account if he's sick of playing Diplomacy.

So, Commodore64, is there a compelling reason that your account should be banned rather than abandoned? If it's a matter of not being able to resist the temptation, merely change your password to some random garbage and be done with it. Frankly, if you can't resist the urge to play now, I don't see how banning your account will help as you'll always be able to create a new one.

Curly has a point, although I strongly suspect that his previous password was, shall we say, of less than the vigor required for reasonable security.

Well, he got his wish. The game I'm in had an announcement that he's been banned and his position is in civil disorder.

He was trying to flush the forum. I guess he left the mods with no choice.

I still don't understand why he didn't just stop playing.

He just gave me his passwords :D
