Babak, the game doesn't start for a week, perhaps you can mull it over a bit, missing out on a djbent game should prove to be too much to pass up in the end.

Based on reading past posts, it appears that djbent, dave bishop and TheWizard are all willing to play anonymous. How about we all post agreement with the following criteria:

1. Phase Length: 50 hours.
2. Bet size: 1715-1750 .
3. Pot type: WTA
4. Anonymouse players: yes.

I'd also like to add the following:

5. If anyone requests a pause of up to one week, it shall be granted, no questions asked.

Here's who's in, please confirm agreement with above!:

I'm in, but like I wrote before, I'll be internet-less until 3 June. If folks are willing to wait/pause, super. If not and y'all want to find another player, no worries.

We are waiting, V+, gives us some time to get mentally prepared for the challenge! ;-)

the more i think about it, the less interested i am in playing anonymous. it seems we have some time, so i'll keep thinking on it, but it just seems like it will make the game less fun. i'm in agreement with everything else, though, and will post in a couple days once i've thought on it a bit more.

I will play regardless, but again, see no real reason to play anon. Most high pot games are anon, so why not give everyone the benefit of the doubt and play non-anon?

Well, worst case, djbent can bow out of this game and we need just one more to get this one going. Then, djbent and I can start recruiting for a second game that may not be as high as a buy-in, perhaps that includes fortknox and vexlord? More than myself may want to play both games too. Maybe Ms. Bent's game could be a 500 point buy-in, or even 1,000, we'd have time to figure that out. Just let us know dj, it's obviously totally up to you!

dave, this thread was based on Dunecat's game he wanted to create, so he's calling the shots, ultimately. If people don't like it, they don't have to play. I'm in Dunecat's game however he wants it, as long as it falls in my points target. BUT, I'm up for a second game for anyone not wanting to play in Dunecat's game, so we can figure that out if need be.

hmmm... I'd prefer a non-anon one as well, as I think we are all good enough players that no one will get stabbed becasue of points or who he is, and I;m with djbent that it would make the game more interesting...

I'll play this one if the non-anon will not get started, otherwise I'd prefer the non-anon one. Don't think I have time for both.

And for the record, all other criteria are totally fine.

well it sounds like davebishop, TheWizard, and MM are all up for a non-anon game, as am i. i'd like to do that, i think MM said that he would start a new thread for it. if you want to not play both, just wait a minute dave and we'll get it going. same to you, wiz.

i am reconsidering, but wont have internet access till tuesday. will check back in then to see where things stand and will check with myself to see if I've changed my mind ;0

Hey, Dunecat, how about you start your game with a ten day joining period. I don't think it needs a password since the pot of over 1700 will make it restrictive enough. This will give Babak and others the option of joining without anyone knowing, or do you prefer everyone in the game be known to be in the game?

djbent, are you thinking your game will be just as big of a pot, or would you be willing to go to 1,000, or even 1,143 (8,000 point pot) or are you thinking 500 point buy-in would work? Give me some feedback and I'll start a new thread for your non-anon game. Also, vexlord is in enough games right now, he won't be joining us.
