What the hell is the deal with focusing on female public figure's clothes/fashion shit? Britian and Scotland have female heads of government, why would i care about what shoes they are wearing??

Convoy/support cutting
I want to know how this situation works (example position)
I have fleet TYR and army TUN. Enemy has fleet Rome and Fleet ION.
I convoy TUN to ROME, and he has ROME support Ionian to Tyr. What happens?
Does my army being convoyed cut the support, so everything bounces, or does the fleet in the Ionian knock fleet TYR out?

Will anyone miss the UK?
Sitting here in my armchair sipping Fuller's ESB Ale I just realised that this is a product produced in UK. Will my ESB become more expensive for me when they leave the Union? That's a scary prospective indeed. Wonder if there is anything more of value that I will miss? Need to think some more on this...

I am just surprised that some of you think that a nonprofit website that publishes confidential information given to it by whisteblowers is responsible for a world Ddos attack.

Some people here are really in crazy town.

That really goes against the transparency they allegedly fights for, doesn't it?

Well ND I realize you would never google this: "Is wikileaks behind the massive ddos hack", but theres about a dozen articles. Wikileaks asking ppl to stop

What are your opinions on wikileaks brain? Do you think Snowden is a criminal?
brainbomb (290 D)

No. I have a positive opinion of snowden and wikileaks and anonymous. I think snowden should be pardoned because we all knew the shit he spilled was true.

1) How can a nonprofit website that publishes information given to it by whistleblowers be behind a massive Ddos attack? Can you please answer the question. Can you please tell me what you think Wikileaks is? It's not a bunch of hackers. It's a few people that publish confidential information on a nonprofit website. That's it. Come on man!

2) Um, if someone on death row had the truth about Hillary I would hear him/her out. Hillary and Bill have consorted with some strange characters over the years so yeah. it's worth hearing for sure.

1) do you think all salicious and juicy info is gained legally?
2) of course you would. Youd pardon them too.
ND (879 D)
23 Oct 16 UTC
You buy into the Democratic Party's talking points way too much. You need to do some independent research like I do.

Instead of saying: OH Wikileaks is sooooooo bad. Wikileaks is run by Putin. It's run by Putin personally! blah, blah, blah OH Wikileaks is bad it is so bad because of Russia! Wikileaks is a hacker consortium and it launched a Ddos attack!!

You should be looking into it, researching it and doing your own evaluation of the material.

@Brain: I have no clue what you are talking about. Wikileaks publishes information from anonymous sources to protect whistleblowers. Source protection is a real thing. Look it up.

No ddos here, but overnight I received a text message saying FedEx have a cheque from millionlotteri with a link ( in the UK ) to use to collect my squillions.... .maybe I should get in touch with this link and provide my personal information and banking information so I can get this bonanza quicker, should also be happy to pay some fee.....or I might simply delete the text message and forget

I don't think anyone said Russia was tied to WikiLeaks except for the Dems themselves.

"It's not a bunch of hackers. It's a few people that publish confidential information on a nonprofit website. That's it. Come on man!"
More than definitely not everyone who acquires this information does it legally. At all. There ARE a bunch of hackers. Several countries have laws to protect whistleblowers. "Being a whistleblower" doesn't automatically make people want to remain anonymous. Edward Snowden was incredibly public, sending the information he had legal access to to newspapers.

"We ask supporters to stop taking down the US internet"
May not have organized it, but I guarantee people who have supplied info to WikiLeaks were part of these DDoS attacks.

Which do you think is easier, hacking into John Podesta's emails or DDoS'ing a bunch of sites?
ND (879 D)
23 Oct 16 UTC
Eh I wouldn't trust that status. Wikileaks has been acting weird since the U.S. pressured the Ecuadorian Embassy to cut off Assange's internet.

"A source familiar with the situation says the Ecuadoran government has been frustrated with Assange and his presence at the embassy in London for months and has been considering how best to proceed."
Ecuador was looking for some form of excuse for something, from the sound of things. America asking gave them one.
ND (879 D)
23 Oct 16 UTC
Maybe. All we know for sure is that the U.S. did in some capacity ask for this.
ND (879 D)
23 Oct 16 UTC
Also, since their twitter has been strange so either new people or running it or something else is going on. No one has seen Assange since this event happened.
