As a Rangers fan for life, I am greatly looking forward to the guaranteed brawl and 10 hit batters this series.

As a fan of baseball, Toronto has THE WORST fans in the entire sport, and that includes the nonexistent geriatric marlins fans.

Realistically, I am somewhat nervous for the Rangers as they really only have 2 reliable pitchers against a team can work a count. However, our bullpen has been one of the strongest in baseball this year and our hitting from the 7th inning is practically unmatched.

I'm fascinated that Ortiz has 2 stolen bases this year.

To clarify the Jays-Ranger game, if this was coach pitch I believe without a doubt the Rangers can outslug the Jays. My concerns are when it's our non-aces pitching and our bats having to keep up with a team playing tball essentially.

It's an even year, but the Giants' record of giving their fans heart attacks in even years is even stronger than their record of winning World Series. Bumgarner-Syndergaard, anybody?

The Rangers are going to sign Jose Bautista this off season. Bautista can play DH since he has a good on base percentage despite lower home run numbers. Prince Fielder had to retire from baseball due to 2 major back operations and Bautista would help keep up offensive production.

Then he will be doing bat flips when he plays against His former team the Toronto Blue Jays. Lol 0_0.

I am a Toronto Blue Jays Fan and last night's game was unfortunate due to a fan chucking a beer can to interfere with a drive into left field. It's sad when one fan gives the entire baseball fan base the impression that Toronto Blue Jays fans are all common villainous, rapscallions. There are some players on that team who have had to work really hard to make it to the big leagues like Kevin Pillar and Ryan Goins. And dare I say it pitchers like Estrada and Sanchez are personable when interviewed.

I love seeing Manager John Gibbons being all calm and mellow during interviews.

The "WORST Fans" are John Tortorella fans who think that he is a great coach when he can be compared to that abusive drunk middle aged man that we all had as a neighbor growing up. MR Tortorella has no business professional bones in his body.

And the Toronto fans were doing the same thing last year. Trashing the field repeatedly so it's more than just "one fan".

@whitesammy so it's not one fan, it's a few. Or a handful. It doesn't really matter. Saying those idiots represent all Jays fans is like saying Trump represents all Americans.

It could be a close series but I don't think so. Texas's record looks great, but then you take into consideration they were 34-11 in one-run games, and suddenly it doesn't look so great anymore. I'd honestly be surprised if this series went to game 5.

Tonight's game is going to be great but I think the Giants take it simply because of MadBum.

The bad part is the single digit run differential with 94 wins.

Those statistics are meaningless.

But one run games are?

You can't pick and choose stats to make your argument valid.

Other meaningless statistics include: Toronto's hitting statistics, Toronto's pitching statistics and anything else that may reflect poorly on them in the comparative. ;)

Moscow goes right from saying something intelligent about one run games to thinking that MadBum is the better pitcher tonight.

@Sammy, walk offs and come from behind wins explain how the one run games happened but don't make them less problematic. The tiny run differential is another way of expressing the same problem.

@Vash once again, I repeat myself. Toronto has the best starting pitching in the AL. If you think their lineup is weak then you don't know baseball.

Historically speaking, Madison Bumgarner has been the greatest road pitcher in postseason history, like ever. It's hard to bet against that.

Two years a go when I was in Colorado visiting my son, I saw a Cubbies fan and said how jealous I was because they got Maddon. He said he wasn't impressed. I said wait till year 2. It is the Cubs year.
