Lady Gaga's influence on modern pop can't really be denied. I'm not a particularly great fan, but certainly out of the pop artists of the past decade she's going to be up there as one of the most influential, probably of all time.

How is Rush considered "world music"?

Also, I submit my nomination for The Oneders for their hit song "That Thing You Do!"

Switch out Bach for U2, keep Tool, Sabbath, and Marley, boot Rush. This is assuming everyone agrees U2 belongs in Europe and not UK.

Rush is Canadian, so technically they don't fit into any other category. And as for the U2 for Bach...too many composers already nominated. He'd get lost in the shuffle.
