the only thing seriously worth responding to: no, choosing not to enact strict gun control is not making a choice to kill people every two weeks. this is a terribly irresponsible reduction that strips away the human element of these killings and consequently misses the central problem (and thus solution). these killings happen because the shooters' social support networks fail; while gun control might do some good by reducing the loss of human life in these attacks, someone who snaps is likely to succeed in killing people anyway. this DOESN'T mean "do nothing," it means REACH OUT to people who are feeling isolated and do your part as a human being to provide support for the unsupported. discussions about gun control are important in treating the symptoms; taking care of as many people as you can and keeping an eye out for people going down the wrong track is important in curing the disease

@Maniac, For the past 3 years now I have been dealing with the lowest levels of crap that come to this site. These are the dumbest people around, who have no respect for the site or anyone one it, and end up fucking up games by cheating, so they get banned. I can't tell you how many times they tell me they will sneak back onto the site until I get bored of banning them. It's been 3 years or so now and I haven't gotten bored yet. Maybe someday in the future I will, but I'm pretty content right now.

Now all I'm doing is adding mr maplebitch to my list of a dozens I make sure don't wreck the site experience for others. Instead of banning him though, I'm going to taunt him, hound him until he gets bored and sick of it or I do. I've outlasted and out-bullied every worthless piece of shit to harass this site so far, and maplebitch isn't going to change that.
