I am sporadically around today, nerd gathering (magic prerelease) but I stand by Jamie. I'm town and I think y2k made a large post with much actual content other than "I don't like him", and it's going to be enough, which makes me think his buddies are manipulating the few town on my wagon.

i summarized every single post you made and starred those that raise suspicion. you've focused on justifying who you want lynched without showing any sign of reading and evolving with the game.

@ Demon: what is it about y2k's actions that have you consistently scum reading him through days 1 & 2? I know there were people against him at the very start of the game when he voted for HR, but if that's the reason it seems pretty thin to hold on to that and disregard everything else. Maybe I missed a full explanation somewhere; could you either clarify or point me out to what I may have overlooked?

@trip - at that stage only known PRs were vecna, who might've been NK'd and Krellin who I wouldn't trust with a plastic spoon. And besides he had mushrooms the night before so was ineligible to receive the gun. I trusted my read, loads were scum reading yoyo, but sometimes you have to trust yourself. Also if HR hadn't claimed COP, I'm sure yoyo would've shot him.

I have two parties to go to now - #livingthedream so won't be back on later. Happy with where my vote is.

Clears - don't vote 3 clear v 2 clear, if you all go to Jamie, or elsewhere that's fine outvote me 4 v 1, but don't leave it open to scum manipulation.

@ Maniac: Vecna being a scum target makes sense. Sorry for lack of understanding, but I'm going to assume that had scum targeted him at the same time you gave him the blaster, either the shot would not have gotten off, or he would have had to fire immediately without discussion with others. Either way, what you did is making much more sense. Thanks for clarifying.

@trip: It was him not attacking cases, everything I saw was attacking people instead, which is s common law defense and scum tactic. At this point in not sold either way on him. He could be the cop. I'm not confident enough to pass that judgement.

I'm saying the behavior you're accusing me of is the exact same behavior you displayed in the opening days of the game.

right ok, the opening days of the game, so you've been staying consistent with your lynch targets.

Ok I'm a little scared at how close the lynch is so I'm just going to come out and say it.

HR is almost certainly scum, and here's why:

His claim as cop came wayyy too late, wit no breacrumbs at all.
He then heavily implied that I was scum, but did not scan me.
He wanted me to shoot reedeer.
He also said that y2k HAS to be town and if I shoot him, then I'm going to be lynched.

So what does this mean?

this means that one of y2k and HR is scum. It's gotta be HR.

Listen to this rationale and tell me this isn't HR's doing:
He was about to be lynched and had to give an impromtu cop claim.
He couldn't say that him saying that I was scum over and over again during D3 was him scanning me, that's probably what he was preparing for, but since giving me a scum verdict would almost immediately result in me capping him, he switched it to him emphasizing me as scum as meaning that he didn't scan me??? Honestly what kind of backwards logic is that. HR banked on Maniac not giving to gun to me, which is why he got so upset. He probably would have told you guys that since we have "pegged" scum, that we should just lynch me, and shoot someone else. that would have resulted in an auto-lose for us, because jamiet would have been shot, and I lynched, and the mafia's night kill would've put them at a majority.

He wanted me to shoot reedeer, who y2k scanned to be innnocent. This is him trying to repatch the previous plan, to shoot a townie and lynch a townie. unfortunately, it did not work, because of my heavy suspicion of Chaqa. If reedeer is indeed town, that means that he is being set up. This is also why I think HR stated that y2k is obvtown, because if I shot him and he was town, he'd immediately push super hard to lynch me, well up until he turned out to be the cop lol. but HR didn't know that. Or maybe he did, and that's why he threatened me that I shouldn't shoot you.

If we lynch another mafia, which I believe Demon to be so, then the mafia are FUCKED. which is why they need a mislynch ASAP. This is why I also think that Jamiet is town, in addition to a few other things.

So that's why we need ALL of the town on demon. I don't want this lynch flip flopping too much.

We can lynch HR tomorrow if y2k dies, which will confirm my beliefs above. But for now, let's condense our lynch pool.

What a load of confirmation bias. If you take my actions on the presumption I'm scum, you can paint me as scum. If you take y2k's actions on the presumption he's scum, you can paint him as scum too. If you guys didn't use confirmation bias so much then towns wouldn't keep getting destroyed in games lately.

How the fuck did my cop claim come way too late? I didn't want to claim at all. I had a strong scumread on you and I like people to do what I say - crumbing a guilty on you to get you lynched if I got NK'd was a nice route to do that.

if y2k is scum, then either Demon or teacon is clear, if you're scum, then reedeer is clear. It's pretty simple.

...Is that a scumslip? How do you know one of Demon/teacon is the Ghost, and that reedeer definitely isn't?

If you are scum, then y2k's read of reedeer being town is obvious since you wanted him dead. Why would you want me to shoot your ghost, genius?

By that logic, y2k would be my ghost. Sounds pretty flawed.

@ y2k: what he did was disassociate the way you acted from your reason for doing so. You spent much of D2 making sure people didn't rush to judgement when bb claimed and yoyo cc'd. It's in the thread. Doing the right thing for town would require you to be harsh/direct.

Take away the first hour of the game and he has nothing on you. And why would town scum read for attacking people to save a PR?

Well if that IS that's also true for Demon, and teacon. Since y2k is obviously couldn't be your ghost, unless there's an idiot cop that has yet to CC TWO scum, that means that if you *are* protecting your ghost, than it is one of Demon or teacon.

And it's possible reedeer could be my ghost if I were scum, if I were using reverse psychology, after all.
