@Jamiet - The problem isn't in the average score formula, it's in the games played formula. I couldn't find a better way to do it so currently the games played formula checks every column and if it's non-zero it adds one to the result, otherwise it adds zero. That means that if a modkill is equal to zero points, then it won't count in games played, so the average score will be higher.

Average points per game is supposed to reflect the average points per game that the player has been in, not total points divided by the total number of games, which (I think) is what your formula does.

The current formula is annoying anyway because I can't find a way to use loops in Google Sheets, so if there's a better way I'd really like to hear it.

@Bo - I'd prefer to keep consistency in the points awarded in this sheet, but I could make another version with varying points depending on what the GM wants. My biggest issue with it is that I don't think that the GMs are always that good at assessing the balance of their games.

No, meme, definitely not, but you can't tell me that keeping a flat rate on the points is any more correct. It would be great if you could keep both, and if GMs feel that your base point allotments are accurate, they can use them.

@ captainmeme: If Google Sheets doesn't have the same commands as Excel that I mentioned earlier (I don't know because I don't use Google Sheets) what you could do is make modkills worth 0.1 .
