I think the only thing this thread actually is accomplishing is proving how much like toddlers we can all be at times. There will always be that one guy who is always acting like a toddler ('give me attention, positive, negative, i just want attention!'). When given the chance to voice their opinions in a civilized or non-toddler-like way, they refuse and continue being that toddler.

Both of you treated this thread like a street corner....if that is so, why hasn't it been locked by the mods yet?

Turn it on me? heh heh. Listen, there were no opinions changed by anyone here. Nothing was "turned on me". Anyone who reads this thread went in with a preconceived notion as to who would "win it" and who would "lose it".

He offers limited debate...I offer wide open debate. He is said to want more debate by some. I am said to want more debate by others.

He says he wants debate, then says he refuses to have dialogue with me. I am said to be afraid of debate by some...others acknowledge YJ hypocrisy...

Nothing was turned on me...it was a demonstration of futility for all. With contradictory statements clearly present within the thread, there are those that read it, ignore the clear contradictions, and continue on in their pre-defined beliefs. This is as much an indictment of everyone that read and commented on this thread as it is anything - something for which nobody should be proud.

All that being said...it has been mildly amusing none the less...seeing YJ all riled up makes me laugh.

It's totally trollicious .... this is the Easter Trollidays.
Maybe this thread should be given a special place in Webdip forum history.

@djakarta - Hmm? Did I say I was proud of irking someone? I'm not proud...I said I was amused by it. YJ isn't worthy of my respect, so while I'm not proud, I'm also not feeling any guilt, either.

dj - yes...that includes me. I did not try to remove myself from the group. I confess as to what this is, and what my part in it is. There is no noble purpose here by anyone involved, myself included.

I don't' think "being proud of" is the standard by which all human activity is judged. Some things we just do.

Are you proud of the last book you read for personal amusement? Or the last movie you watched? Pride has nothing to do with this thread as best I can tell by anyone.
