There are a lot of better acts than many of the ones listed that aren't going to make it.

I know. Kiss isn't on the list either.

Neither the Cure, Depeche Mode, or Smashing Pumpkins are on this list. someone needs to rectify this. Also, if green day makes it past round one of judging, I'll lose all faith in webdip's collective musical taste.

There are at least 20 on there right now that could be much, much better. I'd swap out Green Day since they're my nomination if other groups that clearly have no shot weren't on there, but that's not the collective mentality.

It's like New Wave never happened.
