I'd have assumed that as well. It's just the way these tests work out. I'm always surprised I'm an E when I like to play video games and read a lot. When we were in the lecture on this, my professor really pushed that these test can be useful in self evaluation, but it is difficult to use these indicators to predict actions. This is because people respond differently to the same stimuli. The differences in an N dip player vs. an S is just how we draw on the information presented to us in game (you would probably attempt to use your impressions of an opponent to asses his intentions whereas I would use my previous experiences in game)
