Is it America's fault?

Since then people have used this facility in a more civilized manner but once again I have someone who is using the PM facility to criticize and threaten me over things I write on this forum, what do people think about that.
I don't wish to name the person and embarrass them but surely there is a better more honest way of dealing with such matters. It is not nice to be hounded and harangued in such a manner, can I ask the culprit to please show a little more respect or at least bring their comments to the forum if they are in response to things I have written on the forum.

ghug this is a serious point, surely the forum is the place to discuss any issues that arise from things discussed on the forum, I don't PM people and make little comments and threats to them as it is not a nice thing to do....

See Nigee, I know you think the mods are shit and that they can't help you, but seriously, EMAIL THEM.

I'd say this comes under "respect other players" from the webdip rulebook. Harassment is not what the PM feature is for.

You can always mute them if you want the PMs to stop.

And yes, as bo said, email the mods if it's an ongoing problem.

I really don't think the Mods are shit ..... show me where I have said that, you will really struggle, perception is projection my friend but please don't label me with your own subconscious feelings about site moderation, this is a particular issue that is not warranted and I am just asking the person to desist, in fact on a general note I would say to all people who behave in this manner, it's not very nice, you want to say something or slag someone off, bring it to the forum.

As often, Nigee has miscontrued what happened so he can paint a picture to his liking.

It was me who PMed him.

I recently saw Nigee's comment in the forum saying that I was being patronizing out of nowhere. I think it was in the Ghostrating thread where I asked members to temper their criticism of the lack of ghostrating and be patient while we try to fix the issue. I don't think I made any patronizing comment while trying to understand and explain both sides of the argument, so I PMed Nigee to ask him to either email the mods if there is a problem or stop making disparaging comments about the mods or myself without any reason. He PMed back saying that he has no idea what I was talking about (even after I pointed out what he has said) and then accused me of being corrupted by powers and gave me a long patronizing speech about how I have changed and have abused my powers and how this was an underhanded tactic and how I was censoring him and threatening him.

That's the long and short of it.

I was not going to name you Zultar as that is not my style but I really respect that your comments to me are managed on this forum. If I am really bad you have the power to silence me but I had no way of stopping your PMs and I don;t think I can block you so what else could I do....

It seems there always has to be a 'pantomime villain' (oh no there doesn't, oh yes there does) but just because all the bad boys have been kicked off the site.
If I make comments on the forum I am happy to defend them or reflect on them based on feedback .... I just don't like people painting me as some kind of Mod-hater when I have given them so much support since I have been on this site.

I am all for GOOD site moderation but just because I may comment on individual actions of a person that does not mean I am anti-Moderation.
Just for fairness and balance can you also dig out the numerous times I have supported the Mod team, then we will see the REAL truth.
I have criticized you personally because sometimes you have gone a little crazy, everyone who is regular on the forum knows that but you don't have to shoot the messenger just because I point out the obvious.

Bo maybe I will make up a list of all my previous posts supporting the Mods but you know what, I am an adult and a father, when will I get the time to do this. Jmo has a stated intention of using previous posts to try and show I am anti-Mod which is absolutely ridiculous because it is not true in the slightest, I am a grown up responsible adult, I like fair Moderation, I conform to social/societal norms.
The only reason this thread has any legs is because you, Jmo and Zultar are fuelling the flames, otherwise it would just have been a thread asking an anonymous person (who I could not block) to stop making PM comments to me.
As far as I am concerned he has agreed to stop so case closed for me, mission accomplished, where you guys tend to take this thread I have no idea but I'll watch with fascination and interest as always.
