Why can't I have pervert superpowers?

Id want the power to control things on the atomic level. Imagine how cool it'd be to completely change the composition of something just because. I could change water into wine, walk on water, and create fish and bread from thin air.... Or I could be a bad ass villain I could rob a bank and ass the police got in my way change their composition to water or air, and watch as they just disappear.

The ability to pass completely un-noticed. Not invisibility - similar but more useful. That is, you'd technically be visible, but people's brains would not register the fact that you were there.

The power to rewind time.
Allows you to do pretty much anything.

Every super power could let you be a pervert. So the second rule is silly. But I've always wanted to fly or teleport. Cheap day trips to anywhere in the world and back home in time to feed the dog. Teleportation has the added benefit of teleporting into bank vaults when the banks are closed and making a "withdrawal".

Excuse me for being an evil super-villain, but actually, just thinking about this one, probably the most *effective* super power would be the ability to kill anyone, anywhere on earth, simply by willing it.

You could demonstrate your power to the world by getting in contact with someone heading for the Dignitas clinic in Switzerland - ie someone who has already chosen to die and therefore has nothing to lose by participating. At the appointed time, with impartial observers in place to watch both you, sat at home in the UK or USA, and your volunteer "target", 100's of miles away in the Dignitas clinic, you could wish him dead and *bing*, he'd be dead.

You would be God. Only with a real, physical presence on earth.

Want to end the Israeli offensive in Gaza? No problem. "Mister Netanyahu, call off your troops or I will decide that you die.".....

I don't know what it's called, but I want the thing where if you see something, you can do it. Also, if you are told something, you understand it. Basically like a super learner.

I think that would violate the OP's rules, uclabb, since in a world with super-powers, you'd be able to use that to gain all the other super powers, if you saw another super-mutant using them.

Bearing in mind most of us can see, taste, smell, hear, touch, balance work out complicated equations and some of us can even understand our other halves sometimes, I'd say if we could only have one super power, it would mean giving up a few.

I would like to have an adamantium skeleton, super-fast healing and the heightened sensory skills of some northern american forest animal like, say, the opossum.

The power to control things on the atomic level, like CommanderByron said, would probably be the best superpower I can think of. You can easily get away with (almost) everything.

As in slow time down, go into the past or future or pause time

The problem with Jamiet99uk's power is the anonymous assassin. He'd have to know someone is after him and who it is or Blam, the assassin exercises her/her special power on Jamiet.

And if you can change the composition of anything, just create gold and diamonds. You don't need to rob a bank...unless robbing banks is really what you want your power to do.

I'd prefer true immortality. No accompanying senility etc. either. With that, I just have to wait for technology to catch up to duplicating all of the other superpowers.

I think my power is winning right now guys. And before someone says it being able to change atomic composition wouldn't let me fly, read minds, or travel in time. So I'm not disqualified. Sure I could in theory build a time machine from thin air but if that technology exists it's no longer a power. Ad imagine the pervatunity ( perverted opportunity) that could come with mine. Change the composition of a woman clothe to be water so it just falls . I could in theory kill anyone I wanted because people are made of atoms too. I could simply replace the heart with a block of wood or turn someone's skin into highly flammable petroleum jelly, then make a small fire apprear near the jelly. Or a countless variety if twisted things.

Actually changing atomic composition would let you fly. you could change your own into something lighter than air and effectively fly.
