It's one thing to be correct that the US affords freedoms to the point they're abused. It's something entirely different to laugh at people being killed because for every crazed gun-wielding psycho, there are thousands of normal people and when people are killed, there are hurting friends and family. Making a mockery of people being killed shows such a lack of respect for those that are suffering that it really does indicate a disconnection from humanity and callousness that is equally evil.
