MLB Predictions! Dodgers, Yanks, Red Sox, Cards, Someone Else...Who'll Win it All?
With the season (mostly) starting tomorrow and Opening Day taking off in proper on Monday (Cesar Chavez Day, so hooray for having that day off, ah the perks of living in awesomely-Latino LA County!) it's time for that 162 game marathon once again! Will the Dodgers and their big budget win it all? Will the Red Sox repeat? Will my Mets possibly avoid completely and total embarrassment? ...Well, aside from that last question--pick the 5 playoff spots in each league, and the WS winner!

Chris Christie - Anti-semite?
The 2016 Republican front-runner dared to refer to the Israeli provinces of Judea and Samaria as the "Occupied Territories" in public. Was his private apology to Kingmaker Sheldon Adelson enough penance? Or does this serious offense against all that is decent call for greater contrition?

Third question: curly braces at end of line or by themselves on a new line?

Q: Because Thucy's nipples get hard when it's cold, does it mean he's a pussy?

<answer: YES>

A chicken and a half lays an egg and a half in a day in a half.
As half a chicken must be dead, therefore a chicken lays an egg and a half in a day and a half, in other words a chicken lays an egg per day.
KingCyrus (511 D)

I'm a sexist because you are a pussy? It appears, as always Thuc-wad, that you are the resident misogynist, who takes great offense at any suggestion that you have feminine attributes. (Your panties are showing again...might want to stop wearing halter tops if you don't want people snickering at your thong...)

Thucy the Bigot Ride Again!!
"2/3 of an egg."
Surely you jest! Never have I ever heard tell of an egg that came out of the chicken pre-cracked and ready for the frying pan. But if 'tis true, then 'tis possible we have stumbled on the basis of the Next Big Thing in poultry sales and consumption. We humbly ask your majesty to share some of his newfound wealth with the Webdip community. Please?

What I take offense at, krellin, for the 700th time, is that you USE words like pussy and other things associated with feminist AS an insult. Insult me it does not, because there isn't anything wrong with being a woman or simply a feminine man for that matter.

You're a sexist piece of trash and you know it. Anyone who takes you seriously on this website is either new and ignorant of that fact, or depressingly complicit in your open bigotry (not to mention your Russia-levels of self-delusion and word-twisting).
krellin (80 DX)
28 Mar 14 UTC
kasi - How, exactly, did I use it in a negative way? And if anything, *were it negatively used*, it's simply my reference to Thucy's CAT-like qualities. How that makes me a sexist is beyond me.

Regardless, if Thuc-wad is the true Equalitist that he claims to be, then, whether spoken as in insult or not, he would *embrace* his inner-pussy (...just as he often sits on his thumb at night...)

For example, if you would like to call me a name as an insult -- "Honky" for example - you really think that would offend me? Fro that matter...you may call me "Nigger Pussy" if you like, and I shall surely not be offended.

Thuc-wad, on the other hand, *bristles in rage* whenever his White Maleness is questioned, so offended is he at the mere notion of being compared to someone/something he considers to be of lower stature.

It is, yet again, just another example exposing what a true fucking piece of shit bigot he is.
Why would you ever have butter with nutella?
krellin (80 DX)
28 Mar 14 UTC
Look at him! Up there flailing away, spittle runnign from his mouth in rage at the *****percieved***** insult.

What a frail and pathetic little white boy he is.

Get a grip, Thuc-wad, you racist misogynist fool.
kasimax (243 D)
28 Mar 14 UTC
i know a lot of people who have butter with nutella. the right answer is without of course.
krellin (80 DX)

Thucy -- tell us again, pleeeeeeease Mr Bigot, how those silly blacks and women can *never* succeed unless a big, strong White Man like you helps them out.

"kasi - How, exactly, did I use it in a negative way? And if anything, *were it negatively used*, it's simply my reference to Thucy's CAT-like qualities. How that makes me a sexist is beyond me."

Wow that was fast. Literally the next sentence after my post about Russia-levels of word-twisting.

I'm as I said not insulted at all to be associated with femininity. A number of my characteristics that I highly value are generally considered feminine. To the extent that cultivating empathy is a major goal of my life, I am feminine. I'm feminine in that I find that confrontation and competition usually serve to hurt more than they help. I'm feminine as a vegetarian, feminine because I try not to interrupt people, feminine because I cross my legs and don't drive a car.

Would I be insulted if someone suggested these eroded my "manhood"? No. Manhood isn't always a good thing.

Krellin, you windbag, maybe when you were growing up it was the ultimate insult to suggest to a guy that he was womanly and couldn't prove his manhood. And for many of my peers this is still true. But for most people my age and I wager a lot of guys on this website, that kind of thinking smacks of sexism in the same way a dowry, or male-only suffrage do. Namely, they are dying relics of the past that belong in the past and have no place in our future. Or in 2014 for that matter.
Thucydides (864 D(B))
28 Mar 14 UTC
Go ahead jmo, I'd rather you silence krellin AND me than neither of us. For the record as I stated recently, I'm not going to stop pointing out krellin's disgusting bigotry until he stops expressing it, at the very least.

Here's a pressing question: which will come first: krellin's senseless death, or a renunciation of his bilious views? I figure he has roughly 20-30 years left, so it's an interesting question to ponder. People do change over time.

Those of you who write are probably brimming with ideas like me. How do you choose what to write and what to keep as an idea? What is book-worthy and what is merely an article? What should remain in the confines of your mind?

If France convoys London - Picardy and you support this move with Belgium, does this dislodge the French army?

Is the Anglosphere Special?
Taken as an extension of "The Special Relationship" the US and UK enjoy (which UK pundits sneer at and US politicians do their best to screw up, but I digress) and just taking the UK, US, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand (we'll leave South Africa and other such areas out of this, unless someone wants to argue otherwise?)...are those nations a special family of political and cultural exchange...or are we none too special after all?

Flight 370 Coverage
I'm sorry, I have a real issue with this. Why do we need 24 hours of coverage over what the news networks don't know, accompanied by random "experts" adding theories that could potentially explain the things they don't know? Does that bullshit get the ratings or something?

Backstabbr - new webdiplomacy website
I have found Backstabbr - a new website which allows diplomacy to be played online, very much like this one. The functions are a bit more clunky - this website runs smoothly. However, there are three main features which could be brought in. One is that build and retreat phases take less time - there is no option here. The second is a sandbox mode where you can experiment with different moves. Finally, it allows you to have a preferred country - an addition which we don't have here

Common Core - on its way out?
Indiana just withdrew from the education program, and though the proposed program isn't much better, it's a start. Here's just one example why: http://shine.yahoo.com/healthy-living/common-core-parent-facebook-post-indiana-school-181841158.html

Can we just get rid of it before teachers get replaced by mechanical robots in their classrooms for "cost-cutting purposes"?
