Two points I'd like to make here. 1) I do find the word offensive, as I do any other ethnic slur. So, I choose not to use the word. When I speak of the team, I just say Washington (sometimes in jest I call them the Disenfranchised Natives). This has been my position since about '92. 2) I do not think the team should have to change their name. It's the owner's decision. My views shouldn't really have any bearing on his views. It's not like this is life and death here.
