Once again, I am xing an x in which there are "x" x, and no " x" x, and there is obvious collaboration. Is this standard? Do x believe that because it only states "no x" xthat it is okay to have "x" x?

iOS bug

Hi,

Does anyone know if the issue with screen size effecting the 3rd part of an order using iOS will be fixed? It's really frustrating sometimes so I need to know if I should just time out and leave games when I'm not going to have my laptop around or if it's worth me checking moves still incase the problem is solved and I can set orders

We have the Celtics and Fighting Irish (and Saints and Angels on religious grounds) so, yeah, I think it's fair game...but do it tastefully! Really? That's the kind of racist stereotypical display I'd expect from a 1940s Western, NOT a broadcast in 2013. Between this and the Redskins' name...why can't we treat Native mascots with class?

Civ (to combat "forum suckiness")

Best civilization? In Civ V (I have GnK, but not BNW), I'm rather fond of Russia, China, and the Netherlands
Haven't had time to play as the Iroquois, Austria but find their abilities/specials really interesting.

I tend to stick to the Romans or Egyptians in Civ V, depending on how large my empire is likely to be.

In Civ 4 I was always Louis XIV of the Indians.

In Civ Alpha Centauri I tended to choose Diedre

In Civ Revolutions it just depends based on how I want to play the game, i don't really have a favourite.

In Civ Galactic I tended to be the passive bunny things whose name I've forgotten.

I can't remember who I tended towards in the other games, because I don't think it matters for them.

Civ 2 I was always the Carthaginians
Civ 3 (my unsupervised high school years) I played just about everyone but I remember particularly loving the Russians
Civ test of time (honestly although it had some bugs this title was my favorite) I played the Americsns

I think China is very close to being objectively the best. Back before they patched it to make rushing to longbowmen harder, it used to be pretty easy to beat deity as Japan with their samurai and bushido. I do think the most fun to play as is the Iroquois, though, just because it is a completely different game, and if you get a well forested map they are crazy strong.

I don't have any of the expansions so I can't speak to that.

^ this is all Civ 5

In Civ 4, one thing I really liked to do is play 1 city challenge with the Dutch and then restart until I got a spot that was well boosted by the Levee, and then play a quick game where I just built a super city. That wasn't good strategy or anything, though- it was just fun.

I only really played Civ 3, so take this with a grain of salt. I always preferred playing as the French because they could rake in cash faster than most. But on a small map, I always took the Persians. Immortals are deadly in a quick game, as most small maps tended to be.

Civ 5 iriguoois worked well with my playing style. I like to scout out choke points on the map and settle them as soon as possible while spending the rest of the early part of the game filling out the space between the choke points. I stopped playing though because having not played since civ 3 civ 5 was kind of hard to understand.
