Summer is almost upon us. I cannot be the only one who uses these months for beaches and cocktails.
While I cannot hope that others will indulge my sybaritic senility, it may be that the second round (should I be fortunate enough to make it) would be better starting in September?

Unfortunately I am just going to start it asap unless I get a lot of complaints

And congrats to Vom Kriege, jollycream, and Dorian for a strong finish to
G36. I know that The Belgian Bulldog has been away, but we certainly have some updating to do.
Still ongoing in Round 1:
(1): G10 (Spring, 1916)
(2): G20 (Spring, 1914)
G23 (Autumn, 1914)

Thanks for the update Magnetic! A nitpick: I think there are some small errors in how many games some people have played. For example (I haven't check the whole list), I've only played one game (as a sub), and perhaps more relevantly to qualification sweetwatersam has played two.

Fascinating. Thank you to everyone for putting in the work to make this a success.
A mild caveat: the players in the last two games know exactly what they need to do to go through; a luxury that was denied the speedier finishers. In Round 2 is there a case for keeping results secret until all are finished?

Wait, teccles almost outscored me with a single draw, when I had two - one of them a board lead? What a wonky scoring system, man. 6 SC's shouldn't make that big a difference.
Either way, I announced it in my games but I'll do it again here - I won't be continuing on with the tournament. I'm a sub, didn't sign up for it, so my Finals spot should go to someone who wanted to be in the tournament.

Yes I'm happy to enforce that. There's a reason I never posted the score for this round. Perhaps I should have been stricter when it came to other people doing it
