18 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1903: If anyone's trying to kill Italy, you know where to find me. Let me help you!
19 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Let's hold up a moment, there's a fully formed Juggernaut and we're worried about killing Italy... No matter what's happened in the past, central powers need to stick together!
19 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Italy says this as if he's messaged me once in the past week.
19 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1903: I have...?
19 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Not about central-power solidarity, that's for sure!

Look, I'm not saying you're doing a bad job or anything. It's just a little rich to hear you talk about sticking together when you haven't made any reasonable attempt to get me to work with you since the first season.

And yes, I do think a public forum is where this should be aired out ;)
19 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Hey, there's a reason I attacked you. But there's also reasons we need to stick together. Germany is doing the right thing. But I wish he'd dm me.
19 Mar 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Ok ;)
28 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Goodbye, cruel table.
28 Mar 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: Hope you profit from the next board more!
01 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: What's the hold up?
01 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Someone isn’t turning in his or her moves. Does anyone know when we get a replacement player? What is viewed as a too long wait?
02 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Moderator: (Durga): Yikes, no one told me about this. Sorry! I'll look into it
03 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: How many chances do the NMR people get on this site?(before being thrown) and how long do they get for the game for wait for them to take their sweet time???
03 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: I think that you are thrown out and replaced in the tournament if you force a wait for orders more than once throughout the tournament.
11 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Moderator: (Durga): its mostly dependent on my supply of substitutes tbh

sorry about this
12 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Hold up I entered my moves. Are we waiting on anyone else?
12 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: This wouldn't have happened if we'd kept Austria alive…
12 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1906: Or germany
17 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: O no, not again!
18 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: Moderator: (Durga): This is Italy. I will try to find a replacement tomorrow
18 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: @Durga I'm available
19 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1907: I have set a draw.
19 Apr 19 UTC Spring, 1908: I've entered a draw vote.
23 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1908: I hope you can hang on long enough!
23 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1908: I hope I can too :)
30 Apr 19 UTC Spring, 1909: The boredom is killing me :)
02 May 19 UTC Spring, 1909: Moderator: (Durga): Wow, sorry about neglecting you guys
02 May 19 UTC Spring, 1909: Let's goooooo
03 May 19 UTC Spring, 1909: Moderator: (Durga): the person NMRing is Italy, if it happens again I will just remove wait-for-orders
16 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1911: Hey guys, this has been a long game with a lot of long pauses that have made it tough to stay engaged. I’d be open to a draw right now if there is interest. Thoughts?
20 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1912: I've entered in a draw vote. Are you guys up for a draw here?
21 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1912: I am
22 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1912: I am
22 May 19 UTC Spring, 1913: I am too... oh wait
29 May 19 UTC Autumn, 1914: My draw vote is still in place. Russia, can we please draw this game?
05 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 1915: At least I am going down evenly to both of you :)
05 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 1915: My draw is set - just saying!
05 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 1915: My draw vote is also in.
08 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 1916: Well, there isn`t too much I can do if France is intent on just giving the game to Russia. Kind of figured the way France has been stripping units off the Russian front for the past many turns.

Nice game guys!
08 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 1916: I am ready to draw after this turn, when I have taken Brest. At 15-15, I believe my score cannot increase more than marginally from there as I cannot take Paris without breaking support for Marseilles, and that risks Turkey taking Spain as well. 15-15-4 is a meaningfully higher score for me than 16-17-1. I will ready my moves and put in my draw vote after the retreats are done so the score reflects the new reality.
08 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 1916: Great to hear.

I have a question though. Why did you (Russia) move EC to MAO instead of NAO to MAO? This game for the past many years has had a series of very suspicious moves and disbandments. France has cordially removed units from the Russian line, while Russia has continues to "stab" France while bypassing other obvious paths of advancement - with no consequences or concerns from France with every advance.

The argument that Turkey is a solo threat doesn't work as I have no opportunity to get the necessary SCs - POR and/or PAR are impossible objectives. Added to that I've been trying to work with France for the past many turns - he seems disinterest despite continued losses of SCs to Russia.
08 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 1916: Why would I help you to take the last dots you needed? I had to try and balance your advance and Russia's! Show me one point at which I could have helped you and not risked immediate solo! Russia was a few dots behind you, do I could afford to give him slightly more latitude.
08 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 1916: I'll answer your question by asking another. Where am I going to get the 18th SC to solo? At worst if I had MAR and SPA, where do I get the 18th SC? Given that I can't take MAO, I can't take POR as long as you occupy it. The other alternative is PAR, and I can't see how I can get that either.

I do understand how many turns ago there may have been concern of me soloing, but for the last many turns there has been no way to do so... and yet you keep evacuating your SCs on your front with Russia.

Just a lot of very odd moves at the end of this game. We'll see how it resolves. I'm also very interested to see who needed what points in relation to to tournament.
09 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 1916: I can assure you I do not know who is playing Russia and have not let on who I am in any communication. Whenever I did weaken my front to answer challenges from the Russian front, I lost out. You never offered me any kind of security, and never kept your word. Russia was more skilled at building some trust that he was trying to prevent a solo. I was up against it and had to make judgement calls at who was more concerned to prevent a solo.
09 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 1916: Very well. I've been scratching my head for a number of turns now - disbandments, retreats and moves are very different then what I would have anticipated.
09 Jun 19 UTC So, my draw vote is in. Who has not drawn?
10 Jun 19 UTC Gg guys. My apologies about hitting the panic button.

Strong game Russia. You played very well. FYI, I was with you on the 2WD until you didn’t tap BUR for me. Not sure whether or not you had solo plans there, but I felt I couldn’t risk it.

Good luck with future games everyone.
10 Jun 19 UTC Very well played Russia and Turkey. GG!

Good luck in future games!
10 Jun 19 UTC GG everyone. It was for me an enjoyable game. Thanks especially to Turkey and France. I was worried France that you would threaten to throw the game, so I tried to create the (true) narrative that I needed a good score to care.

Turkey, the reason I didn’t push with you is that I found your way of describing where we needed to be as unbalanced - you were one or two moves away from soloing unless I and France cooperated. But we had a great cooperation on the way.

France, thank you for the cooperation throughout the game. I felt like a shitty ally to you given how true to your word you were throughout. Hopefully in another game!

With my score, I might make the semi finals but every point was important (as of writing I am in position 21 or so with five games yet to finish). Drawing at 15 instead of 14 meant 3 positions up for me so worth fighting for.
26 Aug 19 UTC Moderator: (peterwiggin): Hello Everyone,

The moderator team has taken over running the tournament with the help of captainmeme due to the TD and selected co-td not having the time or necessary access to keep up with the games. From here on out, please direct all requests and needs to webdipmod@gmail.com. We have also turned on WFO mode in all the games. Please make sure not to trigger it: delaying a game more than 3 times will result in being replaced in the tournament. We'll have the 2nd set of games in this round up and running shortly.

Best of luck in the tournament!
