10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Argentina]:Greetings to all from the humble power of Argentinia. [or, if you prefer, South, South America] [or, if you prefer, the red power]. First time with this variant, am very intrigued. I do not have access to the link at the top of the screen, which I presumes gives me more information about the map. It's clear that my borders are not only Brazil, but Oz? and South Africa.

Are we allowed to discuss the game in globa?
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Pacific-Russia]:yes, and other variation we you can talk in private too
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [South-Africa]:Greetings to all from South Africa. First time for me too with this map. Should be fun!
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Pacific-Russia]:did play anybody with this map before?
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Pacific-Russia]:what is oz mean?
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [South-Africa]:{South Africa} - Oz means Australia, I think
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Libya]:Oz is Australia
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Near-East]:What do the green coastline mean?
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Libya]:Africa sure seems over tightly packed. It seems like no matter where I try to move it can easily lead to conflict with neighbors.
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [USA]:Greetings to all as well from the US of A. I look forward to working with all of you and hopefully we can work out all of our issues peacefully (:
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Europe]:Greetings from Europe! Good luck to all.

The three of us who are surrounding the Med. (Lybia and the Nor-East I think), shall we collaborate on a deal. The Med. is vital for all three of us, touching two SC's each, if any of us want a chance at doing good, a peaceful solution for this area is needed. I propose a DMZ of the Med. (or an opening bounce). I'd also like to propose a NAP among the three of us. This will allow us to grow early in the game instead of fighting amongst the three of us and letting other countries prosper. I look forward to hearing from the two of you.
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Ghana]:Good luck all

IT is my first time in a world map is it still 18 SC to win?

Dear Africa,
I would say we focus on not beign greedy and each take 2 SC then united create fleets and as the Brain used say "Try and take over the world!!!"

Pink gets the two north of them,
Purple the two south of them,
Brown the two west of them
Blue the two north of them,

What do you think?
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Brazil]:Hey Argentina, lets split south america, Peru and Uragway for you, Columbia Venezuala for me, then do what africa's doing coordinate to work together
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Brazil]:this is not a gunboat right?
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [India]:Hello from India.

This is my second world-wide map that I'm in right now. In both, I happen to be India, which is really a great country with a ton of open SC's. I got really lucky.

To China, Oz, and Pacific Russia: would any of you be interested in an Eastern Alliance?
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Oz]:Sure thing India :)
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Near-East]:@Libiya, Peace?
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Oz]:Antarctica: Peace between us?
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [Europe]:@Russia: How about we agree to split up near by SC's? You take Arm. and Ukr. and I will get Sca. and Gbr.?
10 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 2000: [USA]:Dear Canada and Quebec,

As I said earlier, I would love to work things out peacefully amongst us. I think we too should make this alliance that other continents are making. Not only do I think it's a good idea, I think it may be necessary for our survival with all of these alliances popping out of the ground! As others are doing, we can each ensure that we all get 2 SCs. Quebec can go for Godthab and Man, Canada can go for Alaska and Ind Terr and I will go for Union and Mexico. We can then continue to work together and stay at peace to ensure growth amongst us and success hopefully.
