Hey dude, Don't know if you frequent here: This is all I get when trying to access the goonDip home page right now
"Error triggered: Declaration of panelGameHome::summary() should be compatible with that of panelGameBoard::summary().
This was probably caused by a software bug. Please contact the administrator about this error."
I would contact you accept I can't access the site to do so :D - hopefully you will see this

Mods:

This game gameID=14902 has been paused for almost two months now. It would be unpaused but for one player refusing. Is it possible to just draw it across everyone, or offer everyone points for their supply centers or something? It's just really annoying because it's been on my home page forever, and it is not going to move unless you guys do something about it. Let me know, thanks.

Forum feature request:

Can we have a search bar for the forum so that we can find old threads?
It would be faster than scrolling through the forum or checking everyone's thread-and-reply lists.
It would also be helpful if we wanted to see if some subject had been talked about in the past.

Bug: why are not all the thread and reply postings not visible on people's pages?

It would not be much of a problem if this were in the past, but the missing ones are the most resent. Without a forum search feature, is next to impossible to find a particular thread.

Whatever the plural of the term is, any established player of Diplomacy has such a relationship with another player, spanning the range from simple rivalry to outright dispisement.

Does anyone on the site have a definite nemesis, and if so, who are they and why are they so competitive with you?

For me, it's James Tiberius Kirk userID=10241 . Ever since I "betrayed" him in year one of my first game he's hated my green guts, so, naturally, I egg him on! =]

I don't reckon you should hate your nemisis, more just be competetive with them, enjoy stabbing them and have most likely played quite a few close games involving stabs and sudden shifts in power.

I wouldn't say I have one, but if anyone thinks I'm their nemesis, please say

Your nemesis changes all the time. I remember when dave bishop and I had a game where he and Italy convenitly didnt pause(It was a Live game) so I swore I would destroy him in a game and I did but I destroyed myself. I noticed this was wrong of me so I decided not to do it again unless it was against a asshole

Bearnstein is probably my new nemisis just because if I was to get into a game with him I would want to destroy him. He stole alot of my points and he didnt deserve them. Fn cheater. I called him out once, I said he was a multi accounter, but I saw his points and I was like ohh no there is noway he can be a cheater but instead he was.

one of the best games i had on this site was with bearnstein. he threw a temper tantrum and went CD because things weren't going his way. he probably doesn't like me very much.

I don't carry grudges over from one game to the next. When the game is over, it's over. If I got stabbed and killed out, then I say "well played Sir" and join another game.

There are however a couple of whinging/whining/that's not fair/please don't hurt me/dick-heads on the site who I loath playing with and try to avoid, but that's because I just don't like whinging/whining/dick-head/cry-babies.

ah yes, my old rival... I won't go into the details, but it was a little more than just wanting to take me down in a game that we happened to be in.

How do we get a new player?

The player responsible for Turkey in our game got banned - I tihnk from the whole site. So how do we get a new player? Is the open spot automatically advertised under "Games" - "Open" or do we have to actively do something?

Anyone know?

Why is there no support arrow when support was cut?

It means that other players can not tell whether a player ordered a support move or not. It would be great if cut support were also visible, but with a greyer color or something. (i.e. "yellow grey" for support move that was cut, "green grey" for a support hold that was cut)

Disappearing Message

I was writing a message in a game I'm in. It was a rather long one, and took me a while. I clicked send and it didn't post. Instead it had disappeared! Most annoying! Is this some kind of bug?
