01 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2004: WOW texas, you just showed us all why you died so fast

who can NYC attack after everyone else?
FLA or ME

he's in a mind-lock, almost 100% of players on this app CANNOT change their alliances once made, especially if it allows them to suicide to let someone else solo

ergo, NYC will attack me after those little kids are dead. fleets can occupy all kinds of spots up there and force his way in

NYC stabbing FLA is WAY easier, but why would he make that play? all FLA has to do is say "I really really won't attack you"
you can see from the moves that nyc isn't playing to win or do well, he's playing for a draw, even if it has 5 players

fla is "overstretched" yes - and in a game with people who play to win or draw, that would matter; but nyc is not playing to win or get a small draw

mexico also wont attack fla, as mexico is also not playing for a win or a small draw, he's hoping to land in a 4 way draw
01 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2004: Are you Liberprimus? He is the one who writes a big pile of nothing. :)
01 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2004: a. I'm not the same Texas, I filled in after Civil Disorder, which you would have noticed if you were paying attention
b. Maybe the reason why you never see anyone switch their alliance is because you give up and never try to make it happen?
01 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2004: If you tell someone "I assume you are dumb and will blindly follow your alliance and you are going to attack me so just attack me already" what do you think is going to happen?
02 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2004: Not liberprimus.

texas - what makes you think I haven't spoken to any other player before posting this? what makes you think I DIDNT exchange messages with people, and thereby observe their linguistic habits and perception of game dynamics and their readiness to break an alliance?

the fact that you make these idiotic assumptions is part of how I know people on this site are too stupid to break alliances

don't get me wrong, i'm sure in legitimate games with multiple thousands of points in the pot we'd get some smart people who want to win, but in a 500pt game!?

not the same crew plays low pot games
people here either have no points, or got them by playing the strong 2nd strategy

neither are legitimate examples of smart people who play to win and have the ability to think critically enough to make a play like changing their minds

the odds are not 100% that FLA and NYC have already won, but the odds are extremely high.
and extremely obvious
02 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2005: I just joined in because there was an open slot for a player and I wanted to try this map out for the first time.
02 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2005: You make a lovely partner
11 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
11 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: I really like that we're all growing old together.
11 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: I know, probably so many important life events that have happened to each of us since this game started. I’m glad to be a part of this journey.
12 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: It’s been 32 days to do 6 years

So I’m gonna do the math here because I’m sitting in a hotel bored

5 turns for a year, so that’s 7.5 days per year

Also considering the first turn we had no retreats, so 6 days for the first year so that leads us to 36 days

So somehow we are ahead of schedule
12 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: However we had 13 missed turns, I forgot the exact date the new rule change went into effect but we probably missed 16 days of time waiting for turns

So we could be in 2008 by now if not for the missed turns
12 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: And, what is the point?
12 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: I don’t know, I was just bored
12 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: What is the point of anything, really.
12 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: We merely toil and suffer in a cycle of endless turn-based war; finishing one conflict only to start another.
12 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: :)
12 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.

13 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: How many OG players are left? Me NY and Mexico?
13 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: Cuba
13 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: Ok new guy here, the last one rage quitted
13 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2006: Hahahahaa, I believe it. He sent me a really aggressive and angry message.

14 Sep 19 UTC GG everyone. What a long strange game that was.
14 Sep 19 UTC Yeah...
14 Sep 19 UTC Yeah. I'm glad I participated though!
14 Sep 19 UTC GG. Your betrayal shall not be forgotten NY! I thought my diplomatic skills would have ensured my survival to the end, but I guess my wiles only worked on your predecessor.
14 Sep 19 UTC Yup. And they never would’ve worked on me to begin with
