Spring, 2: Rome, please set yourself to 'ready' ;)
Autumn, 2: Sorry, was still discussing moved with others. Promise I will play as fast as possible.
Autumn, 2: sorry, didn't realise that. Don't feel hastened though :)
Spring, 6: I'm gonna be straight forward here...Untill now, working together with you both has worked out fine for me. But, as Persia and Carthage no longer exist, I guess my time has come to choose a side... So let me get to the point: because I simply can't choose a side, you'll have to do it for me. Tell me (in our private conversations) which SC('s) of your own you would grant to me... I will choose the sides which promises me most of them. (equal amount? Most strategic SC's win...) I will remain neutral untill that/those SC('s) are in my posession. After that, i'll will help that party to defeated the other. I make a promise that i will not attack him untill the other is out of the game... ... I realise that maybe, i'm making a huge mistake with this message: I could have chosen to stab one of you the normal Diplomacy-way, which I considered for both sides. Now i'm getting the risk to be the victim of a anti-Greece alliance... But I see this as an experiment to improve my skills in the game and see if this open tactic works (before entering in games where higher bets are made)... |
|
Spring, 6: Haha, nice. Let's see...
Autumn, 6: How do we know you're not telling us both we're allied together and betraying us both for a few SCs that might give you the game?
Autumn, 6: Because this treachery would become clear before I would be able to secure the promised SC's...
Autumn, 6: I'll make this as clear as it can be: Egypt offered me more/better SC's than Rome so I'm on its side now.
Spring, 9: Hope Greece did not leave.
Spring, 9: I didn't... had stuff to do and missed a turn ...
Autumn, 11: Putting up a fight. Nice :)
Autumn, 12: Good game!!
Autumn, 12: Yeah, I thought I could just race for the win by stabbing both of you at the same time but now it's proving hard to get those last two SCs. Keep up the good fight!
Spring, 13: Ok. I'm willing to draw if you two want.
Autumn, 13: Let's try a few more turns... if nothing moves anymore, i'm willing to draw too, but for now I'm finding it too amusing to draw :)
Autumn, 14: Goofed up my order.... grrrrr
Spring, 16: Damn, I missed this turn by a few minutes.
Autumn, 17: Things are not going so well anymore.
Autumn, 18: I don't know if it's possible for you, but can we play the game a bit faster again? Last few days the turns lasted a whole day...
Autumn, 18: I'm sorry, I've been really busy at work lately, but it will calm down after this week.
Autumn, 18: no probs ;) | |
Autumn, 19: gg all | |
Autumn, 19: It was a really interesting game with a lot a power shifting. Pity my gambit wasn't enough to push me past 16 centers :)
Spring, 20: Good game indeed by everyone, ended rather differently than I expected. It was a lot of fun. Looking forward to playing with you again. Congratulations Greece! |
|
Spring, 20: After my failed global message I thought I would be done for it... Extraordinary exciting game indeed :)
Thanks everyone! | |
Great game. Thanks indeed. |
