15 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: Well, this sucks.
15 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: Second time I'm bordered exclusively by three enemy countries
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: Wow britain again...
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: I'm in the worst position...
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: You guys did not get the concept, did you? The idea is we pick our countries so that we find it fair. Sophomores pick 1, Juniors 2, Sophomores 2, etc. until we get to 5. Otherwise, the games can always be considered unfair. For now, I suggest we vote pause until I can get in contact with a mod. I'll make a forum post. For now, just tell me if the juniors are up for the idea, because I know the sophomores are.
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: I don't think you can do that regardless of if you have the mods authority or not
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: And i think this is, all things considered, quite equitable. We may not get lucky again like this
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: (abgemacht): Hello all,

I'd be happy to help you with this, but since it wasn't agreed upon before hand, I need to see agreement now. Can everyone please confirm that they wish to have countries reassigned (and explain how you want it done).

16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: I'd argue juniors have a reasonable advantage in this game, though not as drastic as sophomores's the other one. Spain and Russia will likely go. However, Russia is also arguably bordered by England. Russia's North side is protected, and Sweeden can even likely go to Juniors. After that, however, our chances fall drastically. you guys can take both Germany and Turkey with relative ease, while we're really all clumped in one place, meaning less access to centers. From there, we could play a great defense considering we'd be four in a group, but would never be able to go on the attack and win. That's how I see this at least. So I'd really prefer we reassign.
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: I agree. I would think if the teams were more spread out a reassign would work. How do teams of England, Spain, Germany, Ukraine, and Egypt Vs France, Poland, Italy, Turkey, and Russia?
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: Well, that's proof enough for me that the mods can reassign. Everyone please say something to the effect of "yes I want countries reassigned" in global (if you do want countries changed). We can agree on countries tomorrow, hopefully all of us, but if worse comes to worst are people fine with it being decided upon by me Conor and Joe during 2nd period tomorrow?
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: Or do people just want to go with Dubs idea? Answer either way if you guys can. Sorry for the last second scrambling, but the game was started a little early.
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: (abgemacht): I'd suggest ya'll pause this game until you figure out what you want to do.
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: Although I'd consider this pretty equal (majority of sophomores bordering the bread basket balkans) I suppose that maybe Ukraine, Turkey, Germany and spain and Egypt vs italy, Poland, UK, France, and russia? The other way is ok but realistically france would totally get fucked and Egypt would basically sit out.
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: And yes, spain looks isolated, but germany would keep england and france on their toes
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: I agree that Dubs ways isn't great. I like your way more, though I figure Spain would get entirely screwed over in that. My proposition after looking at the board for 5 minutes is
France, Poland, Egypt, Italy, Ukraine
vs.
England, Spain, Turkey, Russia, Germany

But if people like yours better, it's close enough that I'm fine with it. Also, please explicitly say in chat that you're fine with countries getting swapped.
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: I'm fine with countries being swapped.
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: I like that as well but idc other people decide
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: I'm fine with anything
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1994: I second grking
