Game drawn
08 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2002: [Western-Canada]:New management in Western Canada.
09 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2002: [Pacific-Russia]:So many CDs this game.
11 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2003: [Kenya]:Finally, good game to the survivors.
12 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2003: [Argentina]:I hate it when players go inactive then spring back to life at the wrong moment :)
12 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2003: [Ghana]:Is there a right moment?
12 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [India]:I wish that people wouldn't leave, but when they do and their neighbors get fat feeding off them, it can make the game feel unfair
12 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [Pacific-Russia]:Sometimes it can, but position also helps. Numbers don't always me superiority if you know where to strike and where to cover your bases.
12 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [Pacific-Russia]:*mean superiority
13 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [India]:i didn't mean to imply that the numbers always win, but it gives you more opportunity to swiftly take over a place, or gives a free ally to the back
Antarctica and Oz would be in a lot better shape right now if the other hadn't put up such a fight
13 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [Europe]:Fro and Oz need to ally if they are to survive. If they fight, they never do well, unless one is incompetent.
If the 3 in N America do not make a 2 party alliance, they also cannot grow.
The best way for a solo win is to make an early alliance, or have a neighbor stop playing.
BEST advice is DO NOT PLAY EUROPE. Europe needs BIG HELP.
13 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [Pacific-Russia]:Don't worry I completely get your point. I was just looking for a positive in all this. No sense in worrying about what you can't change.
13 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [Pacific-Russia]:Ha ha, ya tough position to start out with if Russia's not your friend. I've seen a game where Russia and Europe dominated. They annihilated everyone except one player. It was ridiculous.
13 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2003: [Near-East]:I played in that game
19 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: [Argentina]:Not liking Argentina much in this game, although i did solo with them once, so i guess i shouldn't complain.
28 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Western-Canada]:I would like to thank everyone for keeping this game moving along. Too often, someone losing will wait the entire turn. Certainly that is well within the rules. Keep those orders posted and may the force be with you.
28 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Argentina]:No proble. Shame i'm about to be eliminated :(.
My neighbour did a deal, then dropped out & the new player was of much higher calibre.... Ah well next time...
28 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Western-Canada]:Thanks for playing to the end Argentina.
28 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Pacific-Russia]:Sorry for the hold up everyone. It is early morning where I am so I have been asleep for the past eight hours. Didn't mean to make everyone wait.
02 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Western-Canada]:Nice move Brazil. I took a chance to reposition my fleets and did you think you would attack. Well done.
09 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Western-Canada]:@ Russia...thanks for playing to the end. You put up a good fight.
10 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 2009: [India]:alas
10 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 2009: [India]:it was fun, at least
17 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 2011: [Western-Canada]:@ India...thanks for playing to the end.
19 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 2011: [India]:of course
19 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 2011: [India]:kind of
20 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 2011: [Ghana]:Sorry folks...hard disk crashed earlier this week.
23 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 2012: [Near-East]:Am I seeing this correctly? Did Ddu just go to Vostok?
23 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 2012: [Pacific-Russia]:I know it looks weird, but that is one of the technical glitches of this version (no idea if they are intentional or not). There are a few of them.
23 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 2012: [Pacific-Russia]:For example, a fleet in Poland is able to move to Ukraine. WC did that back in 2010 I think.
23 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 2012: [Western-Canada]:Also, a fleet in Moscow can only move to Black Sea. A fleet in Ukr or Arm can't move to Moscow. Support orders are affected too.
23 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 2012: [Near-East]:You learn something new about diplomacy every day. And that's really weird
24 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Pacific-Russia]:That was close. I almost missed moves because of class. Looks like I wasn't the only on too. What happened to South Africa?
25 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Libya]:Could we draw the game soon? I hardly think it fair to take advantage of NMR's at this late stage of the game. We are just prolonging the conflict.
31 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 2014: [Pacific-Russia]:Sorry for the hold up everyone. Been a busy few days. On a side note, Happy Halloween!
22 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2018: [Ghana]:Well that does it....Libya's gone.
22 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2018: [Pacific-Russia]:No idea why he left. Maybe something came up.
25 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2020: [Ghana]:So have you guys agreed a 3-way? Or is there hope one of you might win while I survive?
28 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 2021: [Western-Canada]:I would like to commend Ghana and South Africa for continuing to put up a fight unlike Libya "the coward". I look forward to finding out his true identity.
01 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2022: [Ghana]:See Brazil, we've lured him into our trap...now is the time to spring!! Right? Right?
01 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2022: [Western-Canada]:@Ghana...if you only had an army, we could offer to convoy it to Thule, CIs or Phi and you could go into exile.
01 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2022: [Pacific-Russia]:BIs would probably be more appropriate than Thule. If we're going for islands that is...
01 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2022: [Western-Canada]:Yep, BIs would be better for exile.
03 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2022: [Ghana]:Does me, well played folks.
03 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2022: [Western-Canada]:@Ghana...thanks for playing until the end. I would be honored to play with you or against you again in the future.
03 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2022: [Ghana]:Preferably with....won't miss that "opportunity" again!
04 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2023: [Pacific-Russia]:I'll second what Western Canada said. You played a good game despite having the odds stacked against you.
06 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2023: [Pacific-Russia]:Good game South Africa. Thanks for playing to the end.
06 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2023: [Western-Canada]:@South Africa...I do appreciate you and Ghana fighting until the end. Too bad Libya took the coward's way out. It would have been a grand fight if the three of you could have continued to work together.
07 Dec 13 UTC [Western-Canada]:Thanks to Pac-Russia and Brazil for joining me in the grand alliance against the African Union. South Africa and Ghana put up a good fight after the coward Libya betrayed them and quit. I have never seen it done, but I do believe someone (or group) holding Africa with a majority of fleets can hold off an attacker(s). Too bad Libya did not stick around to find out. Oh white Russia...you surely must be kicking yourself now.
08 Dec 13 UTC [Pacific-Russia]:Great game guys. I'll be keeping an eye out for you both in the future. You make excellent allies.
