I, user King Atom, having sat the account for another player, declare that I have played this game with another account, username and identity other than that in my user profile. I submit that I am a cheater and a liar.

I plead the fifth.

Isn't it just. I have been enjoying this site immensely, and was considering donating, but now I find that it isn't a level playing field. This is no reflection on the mods, I too know how difficult moderation can be, but an expression of disgust against the integrity of the players who seek victory through multiple accounts.

That's a little ridiculous, nudge. Have any of your games even had cheaters?

@nudge, from the other thread, please understand that Yonni was making a joke. As are the folks above in this thread.

But yes, there are people that cheat to win which is stupid because it isn't winning it is just spoiling other folk's fun. The volunteer moderator team works to minimize the impact of such cheating, and I for one really appreciate it.

I will say that I, like King Atom above and many other people, have sat another account. But not one involved in any games I was in of course. So I cannot make the declaration you have made. Until such time as webdip has official game sitting capabilities, it is the only way to handle game sitting, and is allowed as far as I am aware. Just so you know.

I am sorry I have answered this in the other thread "Can't leave game". If I can find the game examples, I will post them here. However, the games I was playing last time (2010-2011) don't seem to be coming up under My Games. Is there a way I can search for my older games?

Well, I feel a bit awkward asking this, but when I look at your user profile, it says it was created 10 Sep 2011. Are you sure your previous games were not under another account?

Look, I understand there are legitimate reasons for playing multiple accounts, such as having to use different log-in from a work computer, and I have no truck with that. Any one who can declare their multiple accounts here, by name, and say that they have played in good faith, deserves the respect of his fellow users.

@ Alderian - thank you for your correction, my mistake on the time frame, I played for about six months from that date, and only recently began playing again. My apologies to all, who felt they were misled by that post.

So nudge, are you declaring that you had a different account from 2010-2011? A fair question, jmo, since he's making the implication himself.

@ 2ndwhiteline - I agree, a fair question, but I have only played this game as myself. And i only discovered it in 2011. I was not aware of its existence in 2010.

@nudge, I was serious in the other thread. No one here is cheating. The moderators and admins have an extensive set of tools provided by Kestas (the site owner) that make finding cheaters easy. When more then 1 account is banned for cheating in an ongoing game the game is cancelled to ensure no one is unfairly defeated. Owning more then one account is not allowed for any reason whatsoever.

@2ndWhiteLine (userID=37127) do not post cheating accusations or questions in the forum. If you have concerns about another member send them to [email protected]. Further accusations made in the forum will result in a silence and or docked points.

When I saw the title of this thread, I got sooo excited: Declaration of Singularity. I thought it was a scientific announcement! But alas, it just turned out to be some sort of weird cheating accusation thread.

I, user Kestas, have never used my full access to the site to log in as philcore to ensure his wins in games and to post ridiculous declarations on the forum.
