It's not the gunboat that is the problem; it's the live game.

a) Until you play with a buy in over over 100, you will get that riff raff.
b) Draugnar is right. It has nothing to do with gunboat, and everything to do with live. CD's happen all the time in every live game, as does stupidity.

Points are not the deciding factor. I've played in games for hundreds of points with CDs and I've played in games for under 100 (Leagues/GR Challenge Games) which were great.

imho, if you're going to CD, you don't really care about points anyway, so unless the pot is over 100 (and even then) you'll have problems. Plus, not many people are going to want to play 100 point live gunboat game.

I'd suggest you play with people you know to be reliable players; that's really the only solution.

Private games with passwords between trusted folks are the only way to play. It's all I play any more.

How do you get in them Draugnar? I absolutely want to get to the point where all I'm playing are live password protected games, but I don't seem to find them or launch them successfully.
